UFOs over Argentina on May 2, 2007
This week's files cover: Danger from Asteroids and Tidal Waves, UFO Photographed Outside Shuttle, Similar Structures on Egypt and Mars, UFO Weather Map for April, and Pool safety..
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena were spotted over: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. UFOs were also seen in Argentina, Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over one hundred UFOs reported each week represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. Based on the large number of sightings, we can assume God's universe is greater than ever imagined. "Our mission is the scientific study of UFOs for the benefit of humanity".
These structures appear to designed by the same person.
Steve Tobias writes, note I do not know if the large object (grayish color) in window at positions 10 to 12 o'clock of the portal view area is a part of the NASA vehicle or a UFO main vessel. Research discovery made by Steve Tobias.
Note: There are numerous spheres or "dots" in pyramidal shaped formations. I doubt it's a case of random dust/debris particles on inside of window. Lastly it's obvious the camera operator placed the spheres in focus outside the Space window and that anything closer is fuzzy and out of focus. I cannot offer much of an explanation as to what this all means. I am a UFO researcher in order to end the illegal cover-up of any UFO or alien life related material, photos or information in the possession of any US Government agency. Thanks to Steve Tobias
BBC News reports, "Scientists are tracking a newly discovered Asteroid, 2002 NT7. Preliminary reports show this Asteroid, which is about two miles in circumference, is on a Collision Course with earth and early projections show Impact on 1 FEB 2019 AD"
Astronaut Russell Schweickart is now the Chairman of the B612 Foundation that represents a group of scientists who are concerned about highly destructive impacts from near Earth asteroids (NEAs). Schweickart blew the whistle on NASA Administrator Michael Griffin, for withholding information from the public in Griffin's summary Report to Congress and the December 2006 Final Report on NEO (near Earth objects). NASA sought to prevent public disclosure of the full report that concluded there was little danger. The report was obtained by the B612 Foundation, that advocates a more pro-active planetary defense.
http://www.nasa.gov/pdf/171331main_NEO_report_march07.pdf . Here is a portion of the letter Russell Schweickart wrote to NASA Admininstrater Griffin:
"Because we know that you are personally concerned with the technical excellence of the work that NASA does we are taking this opportunity to apprise you of a key set of examples of these issues. Our conclusion, given these technical errors is that the NASA reports reach unsupportable and misleading conclusions and that they should be retracted or revised.
We believe, as you do, that the issue of protecting the Earth from NEO impacts is very important and that in the near future it will become more so due to the rapid acceleration in NEO discoveries sure to come at the beginning of the next decade under any of the NEO search scenarios. This issue is also of great interest to people worldwide. As Chairman of the Association of Space Explorers Committee on NEOs, I am currently leading a process to begin international efforts to prepare for the day a decision for a NEO deflection will be at issue."
Meteor crater in Arizona was created by a meteor only 200 feet across
Asteroids can be exploded into pieces or diverted utilizing low force controlled acceleration. Nuclear explosions face technical and political problems and deflecting an asteroid could cause it to hit some different point on Earth. Near-Earth asteroids (NEAs) have struck the Earth throughout its existence and the destruction of dinosaurs and other forms of life probably occurred in the past. The consequences of impacts for civilization are enormous, but are relatively rare. Larger meteoroids and small asteroids, meters to hundreds of meters across are much more likely to hit Earth and can be devastating for people near ground zero. They are difficult for scientists to locate, so they usually strike without warning. Impacts of such bodies range from annual events to extremely devastating potential impacts. A 300 meter asteroid might cause 1 million deaths. Impacts of the smaller of these bodies (several to 50 m) will happen (or at least might well happen) during our lifetimes, so the hazards they pose must be addressed by society's institutions.
Scientists have found over 160 major impact craters on land and 300 more likely hit in our oceans. Huge tidal waves created by asteroids will likely cause more fatalities than land based impacts because they can create maga-tsunamis, waves that dwarf any waves caused by earthquakes. A large asteroid called Apophis that is scheduled to whiz by Earth on Friday the 13th in 2029 and again in 2036. It could crash into the Pacific Ocean creating waves 50 feet high that could flood the West Coast of Canada, the US and Mexico. The largest asteroids and comets of practical concern, are 1 to a few km across, and could destroy life and property across an entire continent or even send civilization back into a Dark Age. While the chance that one will strike Earth this century is very small, these objects actually dominate the impact hazard in the sense that the odds that you, the reader, will die by an asteroid impact -- roughly equivalent to your chances of dying in an earthquake or in an airliner crash. http://www.b612foundation.org/press/press.html
Steve Reichmuth writes: April 2007 monthly UFO sighting reports dropped slightly compared to March 2007 totals with 215 NUFORC, and 90 MUFON reports. During March 2007 there were two distinct strings of reports. one from New Jersey through New York City, continuing through Connecticut to Boston/Cape Cod. Another line roughly following the St. Laurence Sea way from Cleveland to Montreal, Canada. By contrast, April 2007 shows these two lines have consolidated into one single pronounced necklace of sightings (35 sightings - from Richmond, Virginia - Triangle, to Milton, Vermont - possible abduction) along the eastern portion of New England. Capping the northern tip of this pronounced line of sightings is an 'Alien' face map symbol in Milton, Vermont (April 9, 2007), relating a possible 'Abduction that is being pursued by the Vermont Mufon state director. We have a "mini-flap in the Northeast!
New Mexico sightings dropped dramatically to one in April compared to seven in March while sightings in Alabama jumped dramatically. In March 2007, Alabama had 3 reports that tripled in April. Two interesting corroborative reports were seen in Elmore, Alabama and 18 miles to the east in Millbrook, at 8 AM on April 23, 2007. Both reports, have similar descriptions of a seemingly cloaked or UFO hidden in cloud or vapor disguise. Triangle/Rectangle shaped object sightings are moderately proportionally up. The number of sightings everywhere associated with Interstate highways is again apparent although the reports are from local residents. It suggests the pilots maybe using dead reckoning are using the highways for navigation?
There were six sighting reports in Mexico, 3 alone in Puerto Vallarta. Photos taken on April 7 show an indistinct strange disk shape over the local beach in the background. A 'formation' sighting on April 3, near Mulege - Punta Abrejos, Baja, Mexico, and a disk/light object reported near Mexico City on April 24 (w/ impressive witness credentials). The United Kingdom, had several sightings around London and this great island's midsection. On April 22, 2007, Tibet had a large object slowly flying over Mount Kailash that is sacred to four religion. GLENDALE -- The witness said that he was talking to someone on his ham radio set 10 miles to the west near Phoenix on April 28, 2007, around 10:45 PM, when suddenly his radio went dead and the normal 200 watt power that he transmits under was zero. He immediately noticed a bright amber-orange light that was traversing slowly across the horizon.
He said that the light would change in size and brightness and was too bright to look at. The light remained for about 5 to 10 minutes. He wasn't able to transmit again until the next morning (about seven hours later). He stated that he transmitted under a frequency of 14 megahertz and had been a ham radio operator for nearly 50 years. He had seen the same phenomenon occur last year. There was no unusual solar activity on the night of occurrence and that other ham radio operators recently reported similar phenomena in Australia and worldwide.
Investigator's Notes: The radio disruption could be the result of electromagnetic disturbances that may have been associated with the unusual bright light seen by the witness. Electromagnetic disturbances in the vicinity of UFOs are quite common in the literature although cases were more numerous in the earlier years, and I can't really say whether or not the bright light caused the radio disruption, but it remains a good possibility. REDONDO BEACH - When I read about the Redondo UFO sighting, we decided to go there on May 5, 2007, take pictures of birds. When we got near where the guy took his picture I saw a speck in the sky that flashed. It was not a bird and sparkled and my husband saw it too. The sky was very busy with all the big birds and airplanes too. I zoomed in on the speck and saw a round prism. I am using a Canon lens which I just had received three weeks ago as a gift. As I zoomed on this object I got excited because of the prism. I zoomed out and was able to take one shot as I was about to take another one it disappeared. I don't know what it was, but its far from being a plane. After seeing the result on my monitor as a blur object I was really disappointed. Please tell me if there is a possibility of it being a UFO?
Second Report: I am attaching another picture that I took at 4:24:01 PM, a few minutes prior to the 4:26:35 PM shot. In between those times I was taking a lot of pictures but I remember that the speck that caught our interest looks exactly like this speck. These must be the same object. I showed this to my husband and I asked him if he saw a gold balloon that day and he said, no. Even him who doubted this object was quite surprised by this second picture. In the span of almost two minutes I took a picture of two strange objects in the sky using my CANON Rebel XT 8 mega pixel CAMERA.
Investigator's Notes: The witness believes that she saw and photographed a UFO. This is a "high-end" camera and is significant because it allows more "in-depth" analysis of photos because of the high pixel density. Her husband believes it was an airplane. I am more inclined to believe the witness because she saw the object on "zoom setting" through the camera, while her husband did not. She said that object appeared to resemble a prism. She zoomed out and snapped the photo. The object then disappeared. The appearance on the photo does not look like an airliner or any other conventional craft. I don't believe that the object is a conventional aircraft. Redondo Beach is only about 5 Miles south of LA Airport so many aircraft would be in the sky. The second photo submitted by the witness (taken earlier at 4:24 PM) only adds to the mystery. She only discovered the "speck" when later blowing up the photo. Two minutes later she did see something unusual and photographed it. It is not known if the two photos are of the same object. At this time I have no explanation for either photo.
Conclusion: Several photos of unusual objects have been taken at Redondo Beach. The witness is making references to a photo taken of a flying disk on March 31, 2007. I have found no evidence that this photo was hoaxed or edited with any graphics software. Thanks to Bill Pluckett UFOs Northwest. http://ufosnw.com/
FORT COLLINS -- Looking west towards the mountains a large, bright green, spherical object appeared suddenly and proceeded to fall downwards at a diagonal angle pointing roughly north for approximately 3-4 seconds at around 11 PM on April 20, 2007 (no - we weren't stoned. It left an orange fiery trail. It appeared to be slightly larger than the moon and was extremely bright. It gave the appearance of burning up - almost like a plane crashing. Far too bright and large to be a meteor or a piece of space junk - especially with all the light pollution from the town. It appeared to be extremely close, 15 miles at the most, and very low altitude. My first thought was that it was actually a burning jet aircraft crashing. There were no reports of anything of the sort. We drove up to the reservoir just west of town and looked around but didn't see anything? Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com
SHARON -- These are hot off the press, done in the middle of day when chemtrailing was going on 14 May 2007. These two objects appear in fairly close proximity. The full size image is a very large file. I was aiming for the lower object and I have no explanation for the upper object. The ball tube thing was just quietly floating along, while the small object was about two miles up. I still get pics of tubecraft all the time. Thank you for all your work! Sincerely, George NaytowhoCon
MARIETTA -- It was about 2 PM on May 21, 1996, with partly cloudy skies, while I was at work. I was in a 4 story Lockheed office building, with glass on all sides that overlooked I-75 and was about one mile from the eastern end of the Dobbins AFB runway. I saw aircraft flying by at extreme altitude the size of your thumbnail with arm extended. It was hazy cigar-shaped and silver in color, with a dark stripe running the length of the underside, but no other features and completely silent. It was cruising almost due north and moving at a speed similar to a commercial airliner at altitude. A few seconds later it passes behind a small cloud and re-emerges on the other side. I asked, "What the hell is that?' My co-worker looks up and comments, "That's weird!"' and goes back to work. I lose it behind the next group of clouds in the far distance. The duration might've been one minute, but I had no doubt I'd seen a vehicle shaped like a German zeppelin without wings or engines. I'm truly amazed that foreign governments are starting to reveal the truth after so many years of denial. Thanks to Mark
BLUE RIDGE -- Tom Sheets, SD-MUFONGA writes, "A citizen has reported he was driving to his parent's home in Blue Ridge North Georgia mountain area on May 5, 2007, at about 1:30 AM, and noticed two cars parked on Aska Roadside with their drivers outside. The witness slowed to see the other drivers were staring up at a hilltop about a half mile distant at a string of twelve BRIGHT AMBER lights arranged into a very shallow crescent shape.. Shortly, the witness parked and observed a solid object hovering 300 feet high with the lights spaced along the leading edge. They observed for 15 minutes, and discussed the situation with one of the other drivers, who related that he'd been watching for about 5 minutes already. A blimp was considered during their discussion. Thereafter, the object began to descend straight down and vanished behind the hill, which took an estimated 3 seconds. Witness then left and drove on to his parents home.
About seven years ago, a MUFONGA member who has a cabin in this same Blue Ridge vicinity, reported a night flyover of a GIGANTIC diamond shaped object that rattled his home. Many similar craft were being reported then. This case has been assigned to Jim Clifford who maintains a week-end retreat in this same community. MANHATTAN -- Brian Vike was sent the photos of a disk like object. The witness stated, "My 9 year old son and I were standing on a second story balcony facing east on March 11, 2007, the sun was to our backs and it was still light out, around 7:15 PM. We saw this black object about 35 feet long that was moving from the south to the north right over the middle of town. The object was as big as a fat grain of rice at my finger tips. This object made no sound and was moving at about 40 MPH, very slow. It was only about 1 mile away at the most. I ran into my kitchen and grabbed my JVC digital movie camera and captured just a few seconds of this object before it went behind a leafless tree. My camera then started to focus on the tree and then I could not see it any more. But in the video you could still see this black dot. I feel so lucky to have captured what I did. The very last time I used this camera was for Christmas at my parents so I have footage of Santa handing out presents and then a UFO going behind a tree.
In January, my ex-wife and son saw a black object just floating very slowly above Manhattan just before midnight. This object had a very large floodlight on it shining horizontally that looked like a batman symbol being projected onto the clouds. We are about 30 miles south of Chicago's O-Hare airport and I now have three cameras ready for more shots. All pictures and the footage is copyright to STT 2007. Footage can be viewed at the HBCC UFO Research site Thanks to Brian Vike http://www.hbccufointernational.org/ and http://jancikradionetwork.com/innerstreamsradio/show/vike_report/index.html
CAHOKIA -- The persons who first noticed the UFO's were looking at the western sky trying to watch the meteor showers around 11 PM, on April 21, 2007, when they saw stars, that are not on any map and had intense flashes of yellow green red and blue. Three of us saw blue lights shooting from one "star" to the other. Upon further monitoring with binoculars we discovered that the stars were moving at rapid speeds, faster then any plane that any of the nine witnesses had ever seen. Through binoculars they looked like gray or silver round disks about 15 miles away. After about 30 minutes we counted eight disks above us and to the east.
About an hour later the disks then began to move east but made no sound. Also through the entire event we did not see any planes. I mention this because we usually see planes headed to Lambert International Airport in Saint Louis. A relative who lives in Saint Louis confirmed he could see them. Some of us are extremely well educated and knowledgeable about the planets and stars. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com
LAKE MICHIGAN - Steve Tobias wrrites, "I saw a UFO on the weather channel radar, a triangle formation of three objects that were detected in contact with the atmosphere." My drawing is a simulation made by me that best represents what was seen on the Zwire doppler weather radar in the evening hours 3 PM through 8 PM during an evening of May 11 to 15. I am not sure of exact day. An attempt at the time to copy the image was a failure as it was a time looped frame streaming video showing the storm process pattern and direction in GIF format. The UFO formation of 3 spheres stayed in triangular formation in at least 2 frames. The video blue colored storm related phenomena was not any where near the UFOs at any time. Blue color refers to below freezing temperature for the water, various green colors is for regular rainfall. I hereby state that what was seen is recorded here factually and with-out any exaggeration. Sincerely, Steve Tobias. Paul Tobias, age 20, also saw the data.
SWEET SPRINGS -- I'm a freshman in college, and was riding with my Dad from Kansas City to Columbia on I-70 traveling east on April 21, 2007, when I saw a triangular shaped aircraft hovering over a farmer's field. My Dad thought it was a B-2 bomber, but they are unable to hover. It was a perfectly shaped triangle just south of I-70, and north of Whiteman Air Force Base. It wasn't moving, just hovering but never advanced toward us. I didn't notice any lights or sounds When I first saw it at 6 PM, it was tipped so I could see the top of it, then it tipped back so I could see the bottom. It was a perfect triangle and completely silver while B-2s are black. It wasn't very high off the ground and directly south of the highway. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com
SOUTH KINGSTON - Around 10 PM, on April 24, 2007, I observed a luminous fixed object in the northwest sky which had a pulsating red light in its center. The object had the circumference of a very large star and appeared fixed in the sky. This bright, pulsating object moved unlike conventional aircraft. After a few moments I observed this object move very slowly laterally toward the east. Once again the pulsating object became stationary. After a few moments I was quite surprised to see the object move once again, slowly in a vertical 90 degree trajectory until it could no longer be seen. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com
KEARNY -- In 1965, I was living at the now defunct New Jersey Boystown where we ate dinner at 5 PM everyday. We were lined up outside gazing at the skyline above the Passiac River. The area is much a higher elevation than Newark, so the view was great. As I looked up I saw a full moon on the clear December evening and saw a "dot" fly from the left side of the moon and that caught my attention! The "dot" got bigger and bigger by the second and it was clear to me it was a fireball! Within less than a minute it was as big as a house and flying at an altitude of a jet on final approach. It veered a little and seemed to find a "path" to fly the rest of it's flight. I felt this can't be a meteor because it's flying horizontally and too slow and I thought "how is that thing staying in the air"? As the event ended there was a lot of talking, and we were told to settle down. The next day the radio said it was a meteor, and also joked that they received calls that people called it a UFO and even said they saw windows in it. That was 1965, here it is 2007 and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Thanks to Johnny and MUFON CMS
RAHWAY - I was taking out the trash in front of my house when my father yelled at me and I turned and saw a big oval shape object in the sky. At first I thought it was a plane, but the colors were just too different to be a plane. The colors were green, red, orange, and blue. The object was flying when it stopped it turned in a 360 degree angle and then went out of sight. At first I was really scared then I was overjoyed because all my life I've wanted to see a UFO. I lost sight when it went behind alot of trees. Thanks to MUFON CMS
BLACK MOUNTAIN -- On our way home we saw a large object with several lights stationary in the sky. My girlfriend and I were traveling north on Highway 9 and just after we drove under I-40 we saw about ten lights high in the night sky. The lights were evenly spaced horizontally. If it was one object, it looked to be about four times the width of a full moon. Neither of us said anything about it for 3 minutes and then she said "It couldn't have been a house that high". That's when I realized I wasn't losing my mind. This all happened on April 18. 2007 between 11:33 and 11:38 PM. The flickering lights were about the size of five stars each. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com
DAVIDSON COUNTY - Alan Caviness writes, "Please note tthe small orb image in the photograph to the right of the bigger and brighter orb image taken on May 7, 2007. Enlargement of this small anomaly revealed an intriguing pattern within the orb image. I found this image to be strikingly similar to an alien "Gray". To me, it looks like the head and face of a typical Gray--as described by UFO abductees--peering through some kind of "opening" in the sky beyond the roof of a house. This image was shot with a 5.0MP digital camera in central North Carolina by one of my colleagues at a site where UFOs and other types of paranormal activity have been documented for several years. After discovering this unusual image and notifying my colleague, I enhanced the contrast and sharpened the image for Filer's Files viewers. I would like to get other opinions and comments from Filer's Files readers. Alan Caviness, Carolina Group Research Project firstname.lastname@example.org or PO Box 2204 Jamestown, NC 27282
EAST MORICHES -- On May 6, 2007, between 8 PM and 9 PM, I was observing white lights forming a "v shape." The lights were spotted directly above my house and the UFO was hovering for half an hour and then started to move west of my house. I am so sorry I didn't get pictures. Is it possible to let me know if there were any other people who saw what I saw? The witness stated that she saw three circular lights on each side of the "v" shaped craft.
Investigator's Notes: It is obvious that whatever the witness observed was not the space station given the shape and direction of movement. A possibility exists that the witness became "fixated" on a pattern of stars and with the rotation of the Earth the pattern would have moved to the west. However, given the fact that the witness said in her second report that the "v" was well defined with three lights on each side, the "pattern of stars theory" is an unlikey explanation. Thanks to Bill Pluckett UFOs Northwest. http://ufosnw.com/
GROVE CITY -- We were sitting on our roof watching stars on April 21, 2007, at 3:10 AM, when a boomerang shaped object appeared about cloud height with no sound at all. It was a gold, rimmed, shadowy object. It was about the size of a car. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com
WYNNEWOOD -- On April 20, 2007, at 9:19 PM, a triangular shaped object flew very slowly about 150 feet above ground, no sound, two very bright white lights, at the front point and rear flank of the craft, red and gold flashing lights along with a green glow emitted from the top of the craft. No visible windows. It had no sound and had no apparent windows. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com
CADES COVE -- On April 22, 2007, I was on Hyatt Lane looking towards the mountains and took this picture with a digital camera and did not notice anything at the time. I got home and looked at the picture on the computer and that is when I saw it. Thanks to MUFON CMS
NASHVILLE - I had takeen many pictures on April 28, 2007 of the Parthenon in Centennial Park, a breezy day celebrating Earth Fest that encourages people to clean up the environment. I had the images in my computer for two weeks, before I noticed the craft over the building about a half mile away. These pictures are at a 1504 x1000 resolution, taken with a Nikon D50 digital camera with 6.1 megapixels. The only thing I had done to it in Photomax was to lighten it a little when I had thought about putting it on my desktop. If you notice in zooming in on the photo, the pixels are jumbled around the object. I don't know what the white part is. Thank you for your interest in this.
Investigator's Notes: I am in the process of obtaining more information about the photo from the witness. Initially I thought that the object was a light fixture, but a screening analysis has not shown this to be true. The witness admitted editing the photo with software, but said that he only brightened it up. I do not believe that he added the object to the picture when he edited it. The object appears disc shaped and of bronze color with a white protrusion on top. There are distortions of pixels around the perimeter of the object. There is a white patch to the lower left of the object. Given current information I have no explanation for this photo. It is one of several photos of disc shaped objects that we have received in the past two years. Thanks to Bill Pluckett UFOs Northwest. http://ufosnw.com/
DALLAS - I am a teacher and love to talk about stars and planets. On May 16, 2007, a clear beautiful night, I was standing in my front yard looking west towards the radio antenna that sits between my home and Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport and noticed a lot of small aircraft flying near the airport. Above them Venus was very bright. Nearby was another bright star that blinked and changed colors, from white to yellowish green to bluish purple. I got my binoculars and the light started flying in a large half circle and moved west getting smaller and fainter after 15 minutes. I watched in my binoculars until it disappeared. (Maybe my first UFO!)
Investigator's Notes: The witness provided a good drawing and a detailed explanation of her observations. It is my opinion that the witness observed the planet Venus. Venus was visible and very bright in the western sky right in the position where the witness saw the light. The blinking and apparent movement can be an optical illusion created when one stares at an object for a given period of time. (The phenomenon is termed "photokinesis.") The changing in color can be created by the scattering of light by atmospheric particles (pollutants). Venus would have been very bright when viewed through binoculars. The apparent disappearance of Venus could have been due to the fact that Venus moved behind an obstruction not apparent to the witness. Also sunset had not quite occurred. Thanks to Bill Pluckett UFOs Northwest. http://ufosnw.com/
MESQUITE -- George Venner writes, "On May 15, 2007, in a suburb of Dallas I was watching Venus and it was huge and bright at 9:45 PM, when a bright white flash caught my eye to the south that was just as bright as Venus." Well as soon as I told my wife look, it dimmed to a low amber color and moved southeast slowly. I looked on Jsat and Starry Night Pro for satellites but none were there at 9:45 PM. I had never seen anything so high generate so much energy. It was amazing!! Since Venus is at -4.3 magnitude the object was at a -4.0 magnitude and about the same exact size when glowing. I would have to guess close to what the satellites orbit. Anyway's keep the good e-mails coming Thanks to George Venner
Buenos Aires -- Dirk Vander Ploeg writes, "I received the photo pictured above from Gaston. The photo was taken in Buenos Aires, on May 2, 2007, about 5 p.m. Gaston managed to take a series of photos with the above being the clearest. The entire sighting lasted 7 to 10 seconds. He is confident the image is not of an aircraft but in all truthfulness he is not sure what it is. I have enhanced the photo and am confident it is not an Adobe Photoshop creation. Gaston is hoping that someone has seen this object and can identity it for him. He does not wish to give out his entire name but wishes to share his photograph with those interested in aerial phenomena.
I have enlarged and enhanced the photo at the top of the Files, and as you can see it appears to have markings, flag or logo on the upper length of the object. Whatever it is, it looks man-made and appears to be flying in an upward trajectory. As opposed to an aircraft or an oval craft, the object appears to be shaped like a "nose cone" from a rocket! This is just the preliminary report and I will follow-up when more information is available. Update: The UFO was spotted again in "Villa Elisa", a local town an hour from Buenos Aires on May 20, 2007. Thanks to Dirk Vander Ploeg http://www.ufodigest.com/.
KAKADOO -- I was sitting out the back in the rockn' chair listening to the serenity and smelling the quaint scent in the air and the ever present cackling of the Kookaburras. Suddenly all was quiet. In the bush things do change quite sharply but not to this magnitude. I was observing a light traveling across the sky before the silence and started to notice that it was not the airplane which I first took it to be. The "craft" as I call it was traveling towards me at an incredible rate, much faster than a conventional jet airplane. When it entered a range of about 200-300 meters I began to panic and grabbed my rifle and fired three shots at the approaching item. Two rounds hit the craft. The last seemed to stop short of the object by about ten meters and fell to the ground. The craft's speed had reached a climax speed of about 600 km per hour and was closing in being 100 meters away as I fired the last shot. Then at about 20 meters away (just after I accepted my own death) it stopped hovered for about ten minutes intimidating me and flew away at the same rate at which it came. Always faithful member Chris Jeisman. Thanks to MUFON CMS.
ONTARIO - I was with my ex- wife Louise, my nephew Brian and his friend Sandra. We had taken a small interest in stargazing and behind the metro zoo was quite a good location for it was quite removed from the city light glare on August 18, 1987. We had left the car and started to walk toward a small bridge that crossed a rather deep ravine when I noticed a pinpoint of light quite close to the wooden structure. All four of us left the trail and turned to our right up a slope that eventually overlooked this ravine. Just about to the crest Brian and Sandra stopped and did not continue any farther, but my wife and I continued on holding hands.
When we reached the crest we both saw a disk edge on with a rather large window in the middle with a being visible from the waist up. This man like creature was darkish brown, no visible hair, large eyes, no nose, and a small mouth. He was very busy working below the window edge. Louise and I were gazing at this structure for several minutes, when I got a very strong feeling to pull my wife bac but she seemed to refuse . I started to shout at her and warn her that the thing was going to explode. I finally struggled her back from the crest and while heading down we heard a rather loud but muffled bang. BOURGOIN JALLIEU -- Claude Zanna writes, "Here is another anomaly (I was taking a picture of a commercial jet) Could you give any clues as what it might be? Thanks to Claude ZANNA Bourgoin Jallieu, EDITOR'S NOTE -- Looks like a cylinder UFO to me. At 400 % magnification no wings or tail surfaces are visible. Your gendarmes allegedly have excellent photographs of similar objects. Rumor here as it that France has an extraterrestrial body. I assume your photo was taken near Bourgoin Jallieu. Do you know the date and time? www.claudezanna.com
TULUM - Vactioning with my family on the Riviera Maya last year when we explored the ruins of Tulum on April 23, 2006. This was on a Sunday morning where the ruins are not overrun by too many tourists. My oldest child and I took pictures of the ruins up and down. I overheard several of the local workers talk about sightings of UFO's up / down the coast line near Tulum, but never gave it a second thought. Upon returning to the states I uploaded the pictures to our PC and noticed a speck in the corner of one shot. Upon maximizing it I first thought it resembled a helicopter but we all remembered how quiet the day was and did not hear any aircraft. Upon further review the bottom of the craft seems to have some sort of glow and seems to be almost oscillating. Thanks to MUFON CMS
BANGOR -- Several callers to BBC have reported a series of strange orange lights in the night sky on May 19, 2007, and Air traffic control at Belfast International Airport said it had also received reports about the sightings, including one from the Coastguard. However, the airport said it had no record of any aircraft in the sky at the time. The callers said, There were three orange globes - nearly in a straight line - they were an absolutely fascinating sight. "I watched them for five minutes, and then very slowly, they just disappeared. Thanks to BBC.
BLACKPOOL -- The eight objects where seen on April 21, 2007 at 9:30 PM on a clear night, They where bright orange glittering egg shaped objects, they were traveling north and then turning east, then started to climb and disappear into the night sky. The objects did not make any sound, and they all flew in a strait line, and in single file identical to each other, they were quite high up and some distance away. They were not any kind of aircraft so the only thing I can come up with is that they were UFO's, as I have seen them before. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.ufocenter.com
On May 16, 2007, I was resting on my chair when I saw something like a meteor passing over my house from north to south. I really thought it was a meteor because its angular velocity was very high. The color was yellow like an incandescent light. When I was thinking about 3 desires to make I saw that the thing was not a meteor because it did not have a tail. It was four times Venus in diameter at the beginning. The light started to follow at deceleration and turned left while decelerating, stopping and turning back over the forward right side. Finally, the light stopped 10 degrees over horizon and started to vanish. This last fact I could see with a binocular of 30 times. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Most of my readers know I lost my grandson in a pool accident last year. I am asking for your help so Georgie will not be forgotten. He always ran up to hug my wife and I to give us a big happy kiss. He was the loving star of our family. I am dedicated to warning others to the dangers of pools and lakes. He was one of about 1450 young children, most under five years of age, that die each year from drowning typically in backyard pools. In 2004, there were 3,308 unintentional fatal drownings in the United States, averaging nine people per day. This figure does not include the 676 fatalities, from drowning due to boating-related accidents. To put this in perspective, we lost about a thousand soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan last year. I ask you to warn people about the dangers in pools and water. Pools and water can cause death just as deadly as roadside bombs. We lose nine people a day in fatal drowning's in the United States. Most young children drown without making a sound. Tell your friends about Georgie, and warn them to watch their children every minute when near water. A swimming pool is 14 times more likely than a motor vehicle to be involved in the death of a child.
It is very important that someone is in charge to watch over the children since children under age 5 can drown in bathtubs, buckets, or even toilets. Most young children who drowned in pools were last seen in the home, had been out of sight less than five minutes, and were in the care of one or both parents at the time. For every child 14 years and younger who dies from drowning, five receive emergency department care for nonfatal submersion injuries. More than half of these children require hospitalization, and often they suffer brain damage that results in long-term disabilities ranging from memory problems and learning disabilities to a permanent vegetative state. In 2004, of all children 1-4 years old who died, 26% died from drowning. Near drownings send about 2,600 to the hospital emergency rooms each year and many have permanent injuries.
The most important layer of protection is parental supervision. There are new alarms, shepherd's hooks, throw rings to help protect your children. Keeping children safe around the pool is job one. Most drownings occur when the supervisor is detracted by a phone call, a party, going to the bathroom or some momentary distraction. Last year a mother turned to pick up the phone and the child was at the bottom of the pool in seconds. Although, we have all seen the drowning person yelling for help, for children under five this is usually not the scenario. What frequently happens is the child falls or gets in the pool and simply breathes in the water. This is startling and painful and the child generally goes directly to the bottom. No yelling, no warning, no sound. Unless someone happens to see this occur within minutes the child is gone forever. Safety tips:
1. Get your child swimming lessons, they are offered to children as early as six months old.
2. Never leave a child unattended near a pool. Keep a phone handy near the pool to call 9-1-1 in case of an emergency. Talk with baby sitters about pool safety and make sure they know CPR.
3. Keep doors or gates leading to the pool areas locked when you are not outside.
4. Remove toys from the pool areas when you aren't outside to avoid attracting young children. If your children use a small wading pool, drain and store it upright after each use.
