UFO Flap on July 4th
This week's Files report: General Chidlaw says "We Have Lost Many Men and Planes Trying To Intercept UFOs, Gary McKinnon claims NASA has documents recording 40 UFOs, Dead Sea Scrolls Speak of Ancient Astronauts, Science Catches Up to Bible Explanation of Our Alien Genes, and Iraq's Nuclear Stockpile Shipped to Canada.
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena were spotted over: California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
UFOs were also seen in Canada, France Netherlands, New Zealand, and the UK,
These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over one hundred UFOs reported each week represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over one hundred UFOs reported each week represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when I chased one over England while flying for the US Air Force. I've been investigating them ever since. The US Air Force under Project Blue Book investigated UFOs for more than twenty years, we continue this research. It is my belief that God has spread his kingdom of intelligent civilizations throughout the universe.
Timothy Good writes, "The destruction or disappearance of military aircraft during interceptions of UFOs continued apace." As General Benjamin Chidlaw, former commanding general of Air (later Aerospace) Defense Command told Robert C. Gardener (ex USAF) in 1953: "We have stack of reports of flying saucers. We take them seriously, when you consider we have lost many men and planes trying to intercept them." Leonard Stringfield , the former Air Force intelligence officer was told by a reliable source in the 1950s that the "Air Force was losing about a plane a day to the UFOs."Stringfield was reliably informed. According to US Defense Department figures, from 1952 until the end of October 1956, there were 18,662 major accidents of military aircraft, broken down as follows:
|Year||Air Force||Navy Losses|
Of this astonishing total, most involved fast new jets (such as those scrambled in UFO interceptions), of which 56.2 per cent were found to be caused by pilot error; 8.1 per cent by ground-crew or other personnel failure; 23.4 per cent by failure of parts and equipment in the aircraft; 2.8 per cent by various 'unsafe conditions', and -9.5 per cent (1,773) were due to 'unknown factors'. Thanks to Timothy Good' new book, "Need to Know" P.172
Comments: When I chased a UFO we exceeded the red lined aircraft air speed by 20 knots. In the excitement of the chase it is easy to exceed aircraft capabilities and often some part of the aircraft may fail. Many stories are told of firing missiles and making direct hits on the UFOs that were unharmed only to have them return the fire and destroy the interceptor.
Lt. Chidlaw entered the Air Corps Engineering School at Wright Field, Ohio, and later directed the development of the United States' original jet engine and jet aircraft. He spent most of his career at Wright Field which established Chidlaw as an expert on materiel, especially aircraft. He became chief of the Experimental Engineering Branch, where he monitored the jet engine development. In March 1945, he took command of the Mediterranean Allied Tactical Air Forces and was promoted to major general the next month.
Chidlaw returned to Wright Field in July 1945 as deputy commanding general for operations of what became Air Materiel Command. He was flown to Roswell, New Mexico at the time of the UFO crash announcement in July of 1947. In October 1947, he became deputy commanding general of the command, with rank of lieutenant general, and full commander on September 1, 1949. General Chidlaw was given the task to evaluate UFO sightings and his group agreed the phenomena was real and approved the Research and Development Board. It is likely his team attempted to develop their own flying discs.
On July 29, 1951, he received his fourth star and the command of Air Defense Command at Ent Air Force Base, Colorado. Most fighter interceptors were under his command and each Air Force base had a UFO Officer who could launch fighters if UFOs were in the area.
Because of his search for evidence on the existence of UFOs, British hacker Gary McKinnon is in trouble. He had raided official NASA site and is facing a 70-year prison sentence, Wired reports. This 40-year-old Briton is waiting extradition to the USA from his London home. Gary claims he saw photos of alien space crafts on NASA`s site.
The hacker believes UFO secrets should not be secret. McKinnon`s search of the American Internet web lasted from February 2001 until March 2002. He says he was inspired for this action by Hugh Cornwall`s Guide for Hackers and his main interest are secrets of the American government on alien space crafts and high technology. Gary believes that such information should not be hidden from the public. He claims he has found documents recording 400 testimonies of unidentified flying objects.
Flight controllers and persons in charge of controlling nuclear missiles wrote down their unusual encounters with UFOs. According to Gary's claims, witnesses spoke of up to date technology which they took over from UFOs or destroyed it. According to the hacker, NASA is in possession of a large amount of photos and processed and unprocessed documents. When asked if this was just another strategic game of the American Army or a reconstruction of a hypothetic situation, Gary responded that anything was possible because it is widely known that the army wants complete sky domination. http://www.javno.com/en/world/clanak.php?id=161796
The Canadian Press announced the last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program, a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium, reached Montreal on Saturday to complete a top-secret U.S. operation. The removal of 550 metric tons of "yellowcake," the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment, included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a voyage across two oceans. The Iraqi government sold the yellowcake to a Canadian uranium producer, Cameco Corp., in a transaction the official described as worth "tens of millions of dollars."
A Cameco spokesman, Lyle Krahn, said the yellowcake will be processed at facilities in Ontario for use in energy-producing reactors. "We are pleased . that we have taken (the yellowcake) from a volatile region into a stable area to produce clean electricity," Krahn said. U.S. and Iraqi forces have guarded the 9,300-hectare nuclear site since its discovery. The deal culminated more than a year of intense diplomatic and military initiatives - kept hushed in fear of ambushes or attacks once the convoys were under way. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or terrorists crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions. The uranium yellowcake alone is not considered potent enough for a so-called "dirty bomb" - a conventional explosive that disperses radioactive material - it could stir widespread panic if incorporated in a blast.
In April, truck convoys started moving the uranium from Tuwaitha to Baghdad's international airport. Then, for two weeks in May, it was ferried on 37 flights to Diego Garcia, an British Island the Indian Ocean where the U.S. military maintains a base. On June 3, an American ship left the island for Montreal with 3,500 secure barrels of radioactive nuclear material. Iraqi authorities claimed the more dangerous nuclear material had been shipped to Syria just before US forces launched their military attacks.© The Canadian Press, 2008
The Dead Sea Scrolls found in a cave near Jerusalem revealed the Earth was visited with extra-terrestrial visitors. Most religions of the world agree in the concept of Sons of Light and Sons of Darkness, good angels and evil ones, good aliens and bad. My research has indicated there are various groups of aliens with different intentions, their motivations may be very different and they often appear to be fighting one another. "The Zadokite Document," discovered fifty years ago in an old synagogue in Cairo, confirms Genesis and mentions the landing of Spacemen, their giant offspring and immorality. "Because they walked in the stubbornness of their hearts, the Watchers of heaven fell, yea, they were caught thereby because they kept not the Commandments of God. So too their Sons whose height was like the lofty cedars and whose bodies were as mountains. They also fell." The Scriptures of the Dead Sea Sect by Theodore H. Gaster.
Their visits have often been interpreted in religious terms, but the data is essentially truthful and often the best we have. Biologists search for protoplasm in ancient primordial soup. Archaeologists seek man's origin in the mud. I search with shining eyes for our home in the stars.
In whose image was the Adam - the prototype of modern humans, Homo sapiens - created? The Bible asserts that the Elohim said: "Let us fashion Adam in our image and after our likeness."
Scientific teams have been deciphering the human genome that contains not the anticipated 100,000 - 140,000 genes (the stretches of DNA that direct the production of amino-acids and proteins) but only some 30,000+ -- little more than double the 13,601 genes of a fruit fly and barely fifty percent more than the roundworm's 19,098.
It is humbling to find our DNA is not that complicated at least when compared to other life forms Moreover, there is hardly any uniqueness to the human genes. They are comparative to 99 percent of the chimpanzees, and 70 percent of the mouse. Human genes, with the same functions, were found to be identical to genes of other vertebrates, as well as invertebrates, plants, fungi, even yeast. The findings not only confirmed that there was one source of DNA for all life on Earth. Some organisms are more complex, genetically, than simpler ones, adopting at each stage the genes of a lower life form to create a more complex higher life form - culminating with Homo sapiens. A designer or creator appears to have taken the simple DNA, and added more complex DNA forming each life form. Each species, dog, cat, horse, monkey, can be developed by using these building blocks of life.
"Francis Crick, the discoverer of DNA, although an atheist, published a book which subscribed to the theory of intelligent design, that our universe was not simply the result of a series of chemical accidents. He states, "Life did not evolve first on Earth, a highly advanced civilization became threatened so they devised a way to pass on their existence. They genetically-modified their DNA and sent it out from their planet on bacteria or meteorites with the hope that it would collide with another planet. It did, and that's why we're here." Our DNA was encoded with messages from that other civilization. They programmed the molecules so that when we reached a certain level of intelligence, we would be able to access their information, and they could therefore "teach" us about ourselves, and how to progress.
Sumerian clay tablets claim life and humans created and brought to Earth.
The "head-scratching discovery by the public consortium," as Science termed it, was that the human genome contains 223 genes that do not have the required predecessors on the genomic evolutionary tree. How did Man acquire such a bunch of enigmatic genes? In the evolutionary progression from bacteria to invertebrates (such as the lineages of yeast, worms, flies or mustard weed - which have been deciphered) to vertebrates (mice, chimpanzees) and finally modern humans, these 223 genes are completely missing in the invertebrate phase. Therefore, the scientists can explain their presence in the human genome by a "rather recent" (in evolutionary time scales) "probable horizontal transfer from bacteria." In other words: At a relatively recent time as Evolution goes, modern humans acquired an extra 223 genes not through gradual evolution, not vertically on the Tree of Life, but horizontally, as a sideways insertion of genetic material from bacteria. I suggest this insertion of genes was accomplished by design, a creator, the Elohim, or extra-terrestrials. There are plans now under way to change Mars and make it habitable.
An immense difference now, at first glance it would seem that 223 genes is no big deal. In fact, while every single gene makes a great difference to every individual, 223 genes make an immense difference to a species such as ours. The human genome is made up of about three billion nucleotides (the "letters" A-C-G-T which stand for the initials of the four nucleic acids that spell out all life on Earth); of them, just a little more than one percent are grouped into functioning genes (each gene consists of thousands of "letters"). The difference between one individual person and another amounts to about one "letter" in a thousand in the DNA "alphabet." The difference between Man and Chimpanzee is less than one percent as genes go; and one percent of 30,000 genes is 300. So, 223 genes is more than two thirds of the difference between me, you and a chimpanzee! An analysis of the functions of these genes through the proteins that they spell out, conducted by the Public Consortium team and published in the journal Nature, shows that they include not only proteins involved in important physiological but also psychiatric functions. Moreover, they are responsible for important neurological enzymes that stem only from the mitochondrial portion of the DNA - the so-called "Eve" DNA that humankind inherited only through the mother-line, all the way back to a single "Eve." It is a very questionable theory, that complex genes, that gave immense human advantage, was obtained by us --"rather recently"-- through the courtesy of infecting bacteria? "It is a jump that does not follow current evolutionary theories," said Steven Scherer, director of mapping of the Human Genome Sequencing Center, Baylor College of Medicine. "We did not identify a strongly preferred bacterial source for the putative horizontally transferred genes," states the report in Nature.
The excellent book "In the Footsteps of Eve The Mystery of Human Origins" Lee. R. Berger believes most early Homo sapiens developed around Johannesburg, South Africa, interestingly near the best gold mines on Earth. Ancient Sumerian records claim Mars needed gold flakes to save its atmosphere and needed workers in the mines.
We can make the assumption that modern man is related to the space visitors who brought wisdom from their civilizations and taught us to read and write and build cities. With an estimated thirty billion earths in our galaxy alone it is reasonable to assume that the Earth has been visited by extra-terrestrial visitors as our ancient texts such as the Bible, Mahabharata, Koran, Torah, and Sumerian and Akkadian clay tablets claim. Thanks to the journal Nature .
BARROW - Christopher Montgomery writes, This image was taken near Barrow, Alaska on May 7, 2008. The ice it is sitting on is not easily accessible and was not occupied when the picture was taken. We are classifying it as an USO (underwater submerged object). The reporter states "Photos taken from landlocked frozen ice about two miles on the Arctic Ocean off the coast of Barrow, Alaska . "Headlights" were not seen with the naked eye, only noticed after reviewing photos."
Barrow Investigator's Comments, "In Northern Alaska snowmobiles are called snow machines and spring whaling begins in May, that is when the crews hunting whales use their snow machines and ATVs to tow their boats out over the ice (the frozen Chukchi Sea which is frozen top to bottom near the shore. They have to cut trails through pressure ridges.til it reaches the bottom of the sea.
The photo you published is a snowmobile coming back from camp at water's edge with the ice ridge behind it.. Thanks to Barrow Resident.
Christopher Montgomery writes, "I wanted to reassure you folks there was not a snowmobile driving or parked on the floating iceberg. I'll urge you to update and use the attached before and after photos to assure there was nothing on the Floating Iceberg until you made it look like there was when you zoomed in and cropped the original (it'll help if the actual sized photo was posted so the whole story/image can be seen)....excluding the "Snowmobile insert". I can guarantee you there was nobody snowmobiling on that floating iceberg.
I repeat (again) that the eyewitness had cleared that area and would have known if it was a snowmobile. The eyewitness is sincere. I can't see a snowmobile in that image??? Can you? How could anyone have gotten a snowmobile out of that image? It is beyond me.
And I am fairly certain they will reprint that with the negative editorial comments deleted!
Anyone with additional information is asked to contact uforc.com, Thanks to Christopher Montgomery, Executive Director UFORC International Global Network, http://www.uforc.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl
Editor's Comments: I'm sorry to say I can only post 400x400 photos on my website so some photos are cropped to show the UFO as clear as possible . For every valid sighting there seems to be someone who disagrees, and the Barrow resident has his beliefs. There are two white lights in the photo. My policy is not to repeat negative editorial comments from anyone. I feel everyone has a right to his opinion. There were no photos attached to my email.
My wife and I were driving home, north on the 5 Freeway. She woke me up to switch drivers and I looked northeast, saw some bright lights just above the horizon and jokingly said, "Look, it's a UFO". She continued driving for about 5-10 minutes, looking for a place to pull off so we could switch. As we got closer, we saw the lights moving around about 100 - 200 yards off the freeway and about 100 yards off the ground. She slowed and we kept watching this thing moving around, and I took two photos with my iPhone.
Eventually, we passed it, but decided we should turn around and pulled off. I was scrambling around trying to find our camera, my wife was calling a friend of hers, and I eventually found a little flip cam video camera with which I began filming the object. Unfortunately, the camera was just about full, so I only got about 23 seconds of footage.
We kept watching it. I looked down for a second, and when I looked back up, the object was gone. It was triangular in shape, with bright, crystal clear, slightly bluish lights underneath, at each apex of the triangle. It was moving very smoothly and seemed to be making horizontal figure 8's. It moved almost like a kite gliding through the air, making sharp, turns. It had 5 or 6 lights on one 'end' of it, because we could see that row every once in a while. When it banked on a turn, we could see the three on the bottom of it. It did not have any blinking lights on it, and all of the lights were the same bluish white color. It was moving, stopping, turning and banking, and did not make a sound. The impression I have of this thing is that whatever was driving it had a mastery of physics and aeronautics that I have never seen before. Thanks to MUFON CMS
NEAR APPLE VALLEY -- I just got home July 1, 2008, and we looked up at the sky and saw an abnormally large oval or round shaped flying object at 10:15 AM. It was very shiny silver. It did not hover, but it did crash. It fell straight down from the sky and burst into flames twice. Yet there is no evidence of a plane or helicopter crash. Shortly after our sighting two or three local planes were out circling the area in which we saw the "UFO". When it fell it came in at a 45-degree angle then suddenly fell to a complete 180-degree drop. There was no sound and no movement caused from it. There is nothing out in the desert that even implies that an aircraft landed or crashed let alone blew up (twice). Please contact me as soon as possible to either verify what I saw or if you may know what it could have been. Thank you.
Comments: I called the witness and had a long interview with her. At this time the identity of the object is unknown. The witnesses stated that the object was not on fire when first seen, but later burst into flames. It was descending rapidly and was first seen by her neighbor. There was another burst of flames when it allegedly crashed. The object was the apparent size of a football held at arm's length. The witness's neighbor is ex military and made the statement that the object was not "man made." I called Edwards Air Force Base to see if they have any record of nearby crashes. (The response was that a check would be made and that I would be called back. I received no return call.)
Several people witnessed the object in southern California and Nevada and articles appeared in the Victorville California, Daily Press and LA Times newspapers regarding the fiery object: Thanks to William Puckett UFOS Northwest http://ufosnw.com
NEW PORT RICHEY -- This report was phoned in shortly after the sighting on July 4, 2008. A couple were watching fireworks and noticed a huge cigar shaped object that was very bright and flickering at 10:07 PM.. The object flew slowly southward. Two witnesses were interviewed. One of witnesses has extensive experience in aviation and is a certified jet mechanic for U.S. Airways. He stated that this object was "not of this world."
Comments: This sighting is significant because of the aviation background of the primary witness and the fact that many other witnesses saw the object. I don't believe that the object was related to the fireworks display, but that is likely the reason why the witnesses noticed the object. I have no explanation for this sighting. Thanks to William Puckett UFOS Northwest http://ufosnw.com
GLENDALE HEIGHTS -- I saw a whitish-blue light about 5 or 6 times bigger than a star on June 28, 2008, about 2 AM. It was far brighter than the stars next to it. It was to the southwest of my house and didn't move for about 15 minutes. It then just disappeared. It made no sounds and did not change color.
Comments: No bright planets were located in the area where the witness saw the light. Apparently the light remained stationary and then disappeared after about 15 minutes. Given available information, I don't know what was sighted. Thanks to William Puckett UFOS Northwest http://ufosnw.com
CORYDON -- I just saw a lot of orange glowing lights in the sky on July 3, 2008, 3 AM, as the object moved out of Harrison County into Louisville, Kentucky going northwest at least 15 mph. This thing is so loud it is rattling my windows.
Comments: This sighting could be a hoax given the profanity in the above report (removed) and the fact that the witness supplied invalid contact information. Thanks to William Puckett UFOS Northwest http://ufosnw.com
GRAY -- My daughter is 18 years old and was driving south with friends down Route 26 when she spotted three bright white lights in the shape of a triangle on July 3, 2008. She said she could barely make out the outline of the shape and that it seemed that it was a solid object and just hovering at 100 feet above some power lines at midnight. Her friend said it was probably an airplane. My daughter said airplanes don't just hover or look like that. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director National UFO Reporting Center http://www.ufocenter.com/
EXCELSIOR - On July 4, 2008, at 10:35, seven of us saw a large formation of square objects observed over, MN moving from southern horizon to the north straight overhead. Objects had four white lights on each corner which gave the appearance that they were square shaped. Objects seemed to be very high in altitude, perhaps in Earths orbit. Some were in pairs or groups of 3 and 4 and would rapidly change position in their formation. Objects disappeared when they got directly overhead.
NEBRASKA CITY -- On July 4, 2008, about 10:30 PM, the witness phoned in his sighting about 20 minutes after it occurred. He stated that he was watching fireworks from his home. All at once a large orange object surrounded by a haze passed through the area of the fireworks display. At that point the fireworks were suspended. Once the object moved out of the area the fireworks show was resumed.
Comments: If the witness has accurately recounted the events and the show was interrupted by an unknown aerial object, then this is a significant sighting. The object sighted was strange given that it was surrounded with a haze. Apparently no sound was associated with the object. Anyone who witnessed this object is urged to file a report. The surface wind at nearby Omaha (closest weather station) was from the southeast at 9 MPH. This is indicative that the object could have been drifting with the wind because it was reported to have been. Thanks to William Puckett UFOS Northwest http://ufosnw.com
NEW BRUNSWICK -- The date of my sighting was on June 27th 2008, the time was around 10:30 AM, it was a sunny day with low clouds. I was heading north into New Brunswick NJ. from route 130 just coming off the route 1 overpass when I saw a rectangular object which seemed very large, (about finger length with the arm extended) above the town. The object appeared more like a projection than a solid form, it was a very light yellow with a smaller square with lines through it of a darker shade in the left corner of it. The object was there by itself and was not moving. As I drove forward in traffic a tree blocked my view. I was stopped by a traffic light for 10 to 15 seconds, by the time I moved forward it was gone. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director National UFO Reporting Center http://www.ufocenter.com/
ATLANTIC CITY/CARDIFF -- 0n June 30, 2008, after getting on the Atlantic City Expressway just after the Pleasantville toll I was driving slow about 60 mph, because of the drizzling rain I noticed a Triangular shaped abject hovering 40 feet directly above the highway and very close to us. It seemed to be moving very slowly, no more than 10 mph and it may have been staying still, its tough to judge going down a highway. The object was directly above the highway, with the front point pointing directly at oncoming traffic, I passed directly underneath it.
I kept driving still about 60 mph for a good 3-4 minutes and as I'm thinking what the hell was that thing I saw it ahead of me again, same distance above ground, exact same thing. This time I slowed down somewhat to get a good look at this thing and as I passed by underneath it this time, I rolled down my window but did not hear anything. There wasn't a ton of traffic, but there was a good amount of cars around, a couple zoomed past me as I slowed down to get a better look.
This was a black triangular shaped object about 25 feet each way, with white lights on the corners. The two back lights did not appear to emit any kind of shine, just very pure white lights. I did get a good look at the front light that took up the whole front tip of the triangle and did emit a light beam strait ahead. The light seemed to extend about a foot back and was almost crystal like and seemed somewhat see through.
I saw some white lights on the bottom of the craft that didn't seem to have any aura or haze around it. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director National UFO Reporting Center http://www.ufocenter.com/
ALBUQUERQUE -- On July 4, 2008, I attended the Independence Day fireworks celebration at Balloon Fiesta Park with my family. About 20 minutes into the fireworks show at 10:30 PM, I saw a spherical object about 2/3rd's the size of a full moon. It traversed the sky at about 60 degrees above the horizon and ten degrees to the right of the fireworks display traveling northnortheast. It was light grey in color with some darker grey covering 1/3rd of the bottom. It was visible for about three to four seconds and seemed to disappear into the sky. There were no lights on it. The speed of the object did not seem remarkable but the object was going fast in a straight line then disappeared. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director National UFO Reporting Center http://www.ufocenter.com/
GREAT SACANDAGA LAKE -- This picture was taken over my beachfront on August 12, 2007. Brian Vike, had also received almost the exact same photo from the UK- also over water. Then, I found another exactly the same from Istanbul, Turkey (just Google UFO-Istanbul-Turkey on YOUTUBE to find it-it starts with a view of Istanbul from the ocean and appears at about 26 seconds). My picture was taken with a Nikkon D200, the one on YOUTUBE was on video, so I don't think it's a camera defect. Also, the thing was not visible when the shot was taken.
I was contacted earlier that week by a gentlemen who said he saw an article I authored in UFO Magazine about a 1981 sighting of three orange-pinkish moon size orbs near Albany making maneuvers. The guy sought me out because he said he had been seeing manta shaped UFOs in Albany NY. He told me that the ETs were "aware of me"... then, the next day, shooting pictures on my beach, this turns up. I'm Brett Allen-former PYX106 disc jockey with a number one show on the number one Albany NY radio station. Thanks to MUFON CMS
ALTOONA - MUFON investigator Bob Gardner was interviewed in Philadelphia by both Channel 3 and 6 regarding recent UFO activity in Pennsylvania. He stated 90% of sightings are known phenomena."
The witness states, "I was taking pictures of "weird" cloud formations and lights in the night sky on June 22, 2008. There were vortexes hovering in the sky. I had feelings of elation and obsession with watching the night sky due to several encounters/observations of "weird" clouds & lights plus black helicopters in the area. The objects just moved away. This photo was designated last week as taken in Virginia, but was actually shot in Pennsylvania. Thanks to MUFON CMS
LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- My father and I were sitting on our patio on the Fourth of July at 11 PM. First we saw what looked like and orange light just hovering. We thought it was a plane but planes don't hover. Suddenly it appeared to be going in an upward direction, just up into space. In seconds it was gone. After five minutes it was back again. This time the light and shape got more vivid but still vague. We called my Mother out and she saw it too. It was like a triangle with one orange light in the front. In seconds it hovered upward and disappeared. My mother said it might be back so I grabbed my camera. Only this time there were three! One in each section of the valley we live in. In seconds they hovered up and were gone. I caught a glimpse of it on my camera but it was too late. Later my mother thought since was Fourth of July and eveyone was blowing fireworks off and there were lights in the sky, maybe the "aliens" thought we were having a war and were trying to help. That calmed me down a bit, but I'm still skeptical. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director National UFO Reporting Center http://www.ufocenter.com/
SHAMOKIN -- A bright halo cigar with light as bright as can be flew over our heads when we were coming out of work at 10 PM, on June 28, 2008. There were eight witnesses who saw the same object then all of a sudden it turned reddish orangish in color and shot straight up in the sky. Like the blink of an eye and just faded away. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director National UFO Reporting Center http://www.ufocenter.com/
PHILADELPHIA - On June 29, 2008, at 12:10 AM, I saw a cylinder shaped object that was not spinning just going across the sky. It took about ten seconds to go across the sky. It was NOT AN AIRCRAFT. I have worked at Phila International Airport for over ten years and I know airplanes. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director National UFO Reporting Center http://www.ufocenter.com/
STANWOOD -- We saw one red orb that pulsed slightly, approached quickly and silently. It disappeared behind a cloud just as it came directly overhead. But as we looked to the east again over the trees came another one. It followed the same path and disappeared as it traveled overhead towards the west in the direction of Whidbey Naval Station. Then another appeared and traveled the same path, no blinking lights were seen, it just pulsed. Then two more traveled together from the east, over our heads to the west. They were not very large. We could not hear any sound. About 30 minutes after we saw the objects, five jets, one at a time in intervals of about 5 or 10 minutes, traveled a similar route from east to west. I was a huge skeptic, but I don't know what that was. Thanks to Brian Vike, HBCC UFO Research http://www.hbccufo.com
BOLTON - Three witnesses saw a bright orange and red object that suddenly dropped altitude on July 1, 2008, at 9:45 PM. It definitely wasn't fireworks, at first we thought it may be a plane or helicopter on fire. But it was too round. It was bright orange and red. It quickly dropped it's altitude and then just disappeared. Really weird. Also, ten years ago at Finch and Weston, over the Humber River, there was a circle of red lights in the sky that just hovered. It stayed for about 5 minutes and then just dropped to the ground. Thanks to Brian Vike, HBCC UFO Research http://www.hbccufo.com
CALGARY, ALBERTA AIRPORT -- I saw a UFO that looked like a triangular craft, (like an upright pyramid, more like an inverted cone) maneuver in broad daylight in mid- June 2008 during daylight. I saw it three seconds and then it dematerialized. What was so cool was the way it disappeared like a fade effect. The outline was visible for a second. I think it was silver, it flanged out on the bottom of the cone shape. The sighting was above the Calgary Airport about 15 - 20 days ago and under the clouds. Thanks to Brian Vike, HBCC UFO Research http://www.hbccufo.com
LA CHAPELLE NEUVE, MORBIHAN, BRETAGNE -- During a telephone call I looked out into my garden and in the distance I saw an unusual object in the sky southeast of my location, at a distance of +15 miles. The object had a triangular profile, dark in colour, no flashing lights. The craft moved slowly to the left (east)and began to rise. The object appeared to be at a strange angle of projection. I am not a trained aircraft spotter, but have had an interest in aviation since I was a kid, and am up to date with current commercial and military craft, this was neither. Thanks to Brian Vike, HBCC UFO Research http://www.hbccufo.com
EGMOND AAN ZEE -- Only July 4, 2008, in case of consideration of my holiday pictures I saw, there is something! There is a small spot on the photo above the Atlantic Ocean (please look on the left side) and if one increases it and enlargedly one sees that it concerns a disc. I never saw any like this.
Close up of disc in upper left .
I don't know what it is, but it's no bird and no plane - that's sure. Thanks to MUFON CMS
GLEN EDEN AUCKLAND - On July 2, 2008 (9:00 - 10:00 PM) a craft traveling from East to West at high speed, smoky green in colour, leaving a greenish trail about 20 times the length of the object. No sound, it was a disc shape but could have had a hollow centre. It looked a bit like a ring doughnut. Not a shooting star or meteorite. I have seen plenty to know the difference. It was about the size of a full moon, so if it was high up then it would have been big. Anybody else see it. Sighting lasted approximately 3 seconds. LANGLEY, NEAR MAIDSTONE, KENT -- My wife and I were at the bottom of our garden on June 28, 2008, at 11 PM, and my wife suddenly said, "Look at that". I saw a bright orange light, moving very fast across the sky, rising from the tree line from a south-easterly direction. I expected it to pass to the west but it changed direction 90 degrees and began to move away towards the east. No sooner had it begun to fade slightly when another followed exactly the same path. This was followed by three more, the last two in fairly quick succession. I tried looking at them through my binoculars but was able to see only an enlarged image - no further detail was visible, except for a semi-circular shape rising from the top of the light. I'm not convinced this was anything other than a slight optical distortion of the binoculars, however. Thanks to Brian Vike, HBCC UFO Research http://www.hbccufo.com
ST. LEONARDS ON SEA, HASTINGS SUSSEX -- At first I thought it was a circular cloud formation similar to a whirlpool on June 28, 2008, at 3.10 AM, I sat on my bed watching it spin around and around. I then approached the window to get a clearer look and called to my partner. It was a saucer shape and we felt that we were looking up to the underneath of a very large object. There were little lights in circular rows and as the object spun they trailed and gave the impression of a large spinning top. You could distinguish the outside border of the shape and it remained there silent for about ten minutes. It was so strange and then it began to rise higher and higher until we could no longer see it at all. Thanks to Brian Vike, HBCC UFO Research http://www.hbccufo.com
ELWORTH, SANDBACH, CHESHIRE -- I was standing in the garden with my partner around midnight on June 29, 2008, when I noticed something catch my eye to the left. I saw to my amazement what I can only describe as a flying star high in the sky heading in the direction of Manchester. We have many airplanes flying over our house because its a Manchester airport flight path. But planes we see are very low and loud with red and green lights flashing on them, very noisy like thunder almost. This object was moving very fast in comparison, and especially as it was very high in the night sky. It never changed color, or dimmed, and it stayed bright white and constant, it's speed about 3 times faster than any aircraft I've seen before. Next time I shall attempt to video any sighting for proof. Thanks to Brian Vike, HBCC UFO Research http://www.hbccufo.com
BLACKPOOL, LANCASHIRE -- Early this morning on the 2nd of July, I was looking out of my window at ten to four. I saw one bright light not moving in a solid direction. It appeared to be phasing about up and down side to side heading west towards the sea. I also saw what at first appeared to be two stars close to the object but in a much bigger scale. I realized there were three lights forming a triangle, that were spinning slowly anticlockwise. Later I saw flashes in the sky in the area I had seen the light five minutes before and they really freaked me out.. Thanks to Brian Vike, HBCC UFO Research http://www.hbccufo.com
