George Filer

Major George A. Filer spent twenty years in the Air Force working as an intelligence officer and flier accumulating five thousand hours of flying time prior to retirement. He graduated from Squadron Officers School and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service in Vietnam. During his career he chased UFOs and became an expert with special intelligence and above top secret clearances.

His education includes a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University 1976 and a Bachelors of Science Degree from Bradley University. He was formally Executive Vice President and General Manager for Medcor Inc. a medical firm in Princeton, New Jersey and is currently the President of the Filer Research Institute. He has appeared on television programs in Canada, Japan, Chili, and Russia and nationally in programs such as Sightings, and Comcast CNN Newsmakers. He developed his own television show broadcast from Channel 53, WWAC in Atlantic City called Investigations UFO.

While in the Air Force, he intercepted UFOs over the United Kingdom and was invited to a Dining-in with Prince Philip concerning his interest in UFOs. He briefed JCS General George Brown on UFOs over Vietnam. Later as the 21st Air Force Intelligence Officer at McGuire Air Force Base he participated in an alert concerning a UFO and capture of an alien on the runway.

He is the Eastern Regional Director and New Jersey State Director of MUFON and author of Filer’s Files weekly intelligence digest of UFO sightings around the world and space that is sent to 9,750 people weekly (as of January 2012).
