CONTENTS OF THE LECTURE

The contents below can be used for publicity purposes in regards to flyers
or notice to others of what the lecture will all be about.

SPIRITUALISM.

Malcolm will explain to the audience, all about the early days of Spiritualism and it's early impact on society.

TABLE TILTING.

Here Malcolm will explain all about 'Table Tilting' and how alleged spirits made use of it to relay messages to their loved ones.

ECTOPLASM.

Some psychics have been seen to exude a strange substance from their bodies called ectoplasm, Malcolm explains all about it and what purpose it served.

GHOSTS, THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME !

Most people automatically assume that all ghosts are the same, they are not, and Malcolm will show that there are quite a number of different categories of ghostly apparitions, from ghosts that are transparent, to ghosts that are 'solid'! Then we have crisis ghosts to name but a few. Malcolm will also play an audio tape which contains ghostly sounds, sounds that have been recorded by microphones placed in the stone walls of a haunted pub in Wales !!! Spooky stuff.

GHOSTS CAUGHT ON FILM.

Here Malcolm will show numerous slides and acetates of ghostly manifestations that have been caught by the camera. Can they all be 'tricks of the light'? Or could they be 'something else'.

BUTTERFLIES NIGHT CLUB.

Most people state that there isn't any strong proof of ghosts caught on film, not so, and Malcolm presents a case, which blows that statement out of the water.

SCOTTISH GHOST CASES FROM THE FILES OF SPI.

Here Malcolm presents a number of cases that he has personally worked on throughout the years, this comprises of a number of strange and disturbing events from council houses to castles. Malcolm will also discuss his own personal accounts of ghostly phenomena. What's it like to be inside a haunted house? What exactly do you do? And how do we actually get rid of the ghosts? Malcolm will discuss all these and other points. Some of the more scary events that Malcolm has been associated have been the following.

  • Being touched by ghosts.
  • Seeing the ghostly spirit of a woman in his bedroom.
  • Ghosts on stage with Malcolm at Southampton !
  • The Chingford Séance.
  • The levitating shoe which rose up from the floor and smashed through a window !
  • Ghostly legs in the Tollbooth Jail in Stirling Scotland.
  • Malcolm uses heavily, slides, overheads and video footage to illustrate his lively lecture.
  • All these are many more stories as well.

Malcolm has been interested in the strange world of UFOs and the paranormal for as long as he can remember and in 1979 formed his own research society entitled, Strange Phenomena Investigations, (SPI). Since forming this society, Malcolm has moved down to London where he started up a sister branch to SPI, entitled, Strange Phenomena Investigations England). SPI Scotland is now in the hands of a fellow researcher. The aims of SPI, are basically to collect, research, and publish, accounts relating to most aspects of strange phenomena, and to purposely endevour to try and come up with some answers to account for what at present eludes us.

Articles by Malcolm have appeared in many of the world's UFO and paranormal magazines. He has assisted many of the U.K's National and Regional newspapers in connection with stories concerning ghosts, poltergeists and UFOs. He has also been interviewed by many of the U.K's major (and minor) radio stations regarding the above mentioned subjects.

Malcolm has travelled extensively throughout the U.K. on research projects, and has lectured to various clubs and societies throughout Scotland and England, and I am pleased to say that I have represented my country at International UFO conferences. Malcolm gives a lively and entertaining lecture and his audiences are seldom bored.

Malcolm's television work has seen him appearing on Scottish Television's, 'Scottish Women'! BBC Reporting Scotland News. Scottish Television news (STV), American television's 'Sightings' programme. He has also worked for Japanese television, German television (Twice, ARD and PRO 7). Mexican television. Australian television. Italian television. And has appeared twice on the Michael Aspel show, 'Strange But True'. He has also appeared on Grampian television, and completed documentaries for BBC Scotland, (Cracking Stories) and the BBC 2 programmes, 'Strange Days' and 'The Right To Differ'. Both Lorraine Kelly and Eammon Holmes also interviewed him live (twice) at the G.M.T.V. Television studios in London in regards to a ghost case that SPI had been working on. He has also appeared on the Disney Channel and LWTV's 'Ultimate Questions'. Plus the Chris Moyles Channel 5 show, and also UK Horizons 'Paranormal Files'. These are but some, of the many T.V. shows that Malcolm has participated in over the years.

Malcolm's goal in life is to continue researching cases pertaining to the strange world of UFOs and the paranormal, and to hopefully provide some form of answer to account for what at present eludes us.
