John E.L. TenneyJohn Tenney has lectured to numerous public and private schools, universities, organizations, clubs and has been interviewed extensively on radio and television. His columns have been printed in magazines and newspapers world-wide and he has been actively involved in the field of paranormal/conspiratorial/ufological research for over 15 years. In 1997 Tenney founded the Michigan Anomalous Information Network (MAIN). All groups/organizations/schools are encouraged to schedule and host a lecture. One of the goals of these lecture/disscussion groups is to provide education to those people who have an interest in these fields so that we might create a more well informed community of the generally interested. The sharing/construction of knowledge is a prime goal held by Tenney.
Price of a Lecture: Unfortunately due to the limited budget of MAIN the charge for a lecture is based upon travel time/expenses and give-away reproduction . Usually if the lecture takes place inside the state of Michigan a lecture costs only $50 to $75 dollars sometimes less, sometimes more. Elementary/Middle/High Schools If you are a teacher at a elementary/middle or high school you can request a lecture at NO CHARGE! A brief worksheet can be given out before the lecture and collected at the end, students will then receive a honorary Certificate of Weirdology at the end of the lecture, this is all provided FREE of charge as well.
