CUBA WINS AWARD FOR UFO DOCUMENTARY

Cuban producer was awarded the top award at the Vina del Mar UFO film festival, which attracted over 500 persons this weekend.

VIÑA DEL MAR, Februar 16.- "Ovnis en Cuba: 50 años de Misterio" was the audiovisual production that won the alien statuette at the First Latin American UFO Documentary Festival, an event that ended yesterday after an intensive day of UFO projections at the Vina de Mar Municipal Theater.

Honorable mentions were given to two other productions from Brazil and Germany.

UFO buffs were able to enjoy cases collected by researcher Carlos Muñoz in Punta Arenas, as well as the work of analyst Eugenio Ford, who presented CEFAA's latest computer analyses on UFO sightings in Santiago, Iquique and Viña del Mar.
