BRAZIL UFO FRAGMENT TO BE ANALYZED The Technical-Scientific Department of the Piaui Police collected a chunk of an unidentifief flying object (UFO) that fell in the region after an explosion in the sky. The material shall be forwarded to the INPE (National Institute of Space Exploration) for a more thorough analysis. The Secretaray of State of Safety Matters, Menandro Pedro da Luz, has said that he himself verified the material collected and that it was no more than a piece of iron plate, measuring around one meter, that shows signs of heating possibly as a result of entering the Earth's atmosphere. The Secretary was unable to say if there were signs of radiation on the object, but reported that the material is being sent to INPE for a more detailed analysis. "There is an office at INPE at Navidad, in Rio Grande do Norte, or the one in Sao Luis, in Maranhao, due to the Alcantara rocket launching site. They must identify the origin and nature of the material collected," he remarked. The Delegate of Batalha, Police Sergeant Raimundo Nonato, known as "Sargento Cajura", was frightened by the arrival of the car from the Technical-Scientific Police department to collect the object. The local population has visited the police precinct to assuage its curiosity about the object that exploded in the sky, causing a loud report and a flash in the early hours of Sunday morning.
