- Hospital receptionist Maria Josa Cintra, who worked at the Clemente Ferreira Sanatorium in Lins, Sao Paulo State, Brazil was awakened by a noise early in the morning at around 5:00 a.m. At the front door was a "foreign-looking" woman of normal height, wearing light-colored clothes, and a headdress exposing only her face. She spoke in an unknown language, and handed Marie a mug and a glass bottle covered with beautiful engravings. Maria filled them. The woman said something sounding like "Rempaua," and went out to a bright, pearl-like sphere with a flat bottom that was hovering three feet above the hospital's lawn, that took off with the flapping sound of wings. Another person could be seen inside the craft. After It took off it climbed slowly in a spiral, with a repetition of the flapping sound.(Sources: Max Berezowski, APRO Bulletin, July-August 1968, p. 6; Jacques Vallee, Passport to Magonia: a Century of Landings, case 918; David F. 1969 – At 10:10 p.m. eleven people were watching for UFOs on Cradle Hill in Warminster, Wiltshire, England when they saw something like a "burning bush" on the ground about 600 yards away, in a place called "Kidnappers Hole." Christopher Trubridge and Robert Coates ran towards it. The light went out, but when they got near the spot Christopher saw a figure about seven feet tall in the moonlight, about 100 feet away. It was dressed in a tight-fitting shiny black suit, with a gold sash or "bandoleer" over one shoulder. It also had long, dark golden hair that fell to its shoulders and had bright eyes. The eye color was impossible to determine in the moonlight, but it had a “rather feminine” set of features and a not unattractive face. She was motionless, with one arm upraised. The witnesses could not approach any closer than about 30 yards, overcome by fear. Fear mixed with another impossible to describe emotional response caused both men be beat a hasty retreat. (Source David F. Webb & Ted Bloecher, HUMCAT: Catalogue of Humanoid Reports, case 1969-48, citing Arthur Shuttlewood and Ken Rogers The Warminster Triangle; Cosmos, December 1969).

- At 9:45 p.m. four young people in Andover, Hampshire, England witnessed two straight sausage-shaped objects below scattered clouds for three minutes. They were white but brighter than any stars, and moving southwesterly; kept pace with each other but were not joined together. They slowly dimmed as they moved away. (Source: Mrs. K. Smith, BUFORA Journal, January 1972, p. 16).

The woman saw the object descend to about 15 or 20 feet, and when she ran down her driveway to get closer it shot a circle of bright light around her. The object was cigar-shaped and had a transparent bottom, through which the witness said she could see a man and two women occupants; one of the two women was the same one who had visited her earlier, and she smiled at the witness. The object took off rapidly as the witness daughter approached. By morning, the witness was suffering from severe physical symptoms and was hospitalized; she was bleeding from the kidneys and was seriously dehydrated; she dropped from 130 pounds to 90 in a matter of weeks. Under X-ray, she said, her insides were "glowing." She was also found to have a "crease" or 'dent' in her skull that was not here prior to her "contact." She claimed to have become increasingly "psychic" after her experiences. (Sources: Ted Bloecher, MUFON UFO Conference Proceedings 1975, p. 51; David F. That afternoon two women driving over Poncha Pass in Saguache County reported a cigarette-shaped object, and a family driving on Hwy. 114 near Cochetopa also saw a cigar-shaped object. At four p.m. a maintenance man at the Baca Golf Course reported seeing a cigar-shaped object that went straight into a mountain, "either that, or it just disappeared". (Source:Christopher O'Brien, Enter the Valley, pp. 315-316).

- At 1:10 p.m. a featureless dome-shaped object followed a C-130 transport plane coming in for a landing at the airport in Medford, Oregon. It then vanished. (Source: Larry Hatch, U computer database, case 17392; Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle).

- At 8:40 p.m. Joao Galvao Coelho and his wife Ivanete were returning home on a small motorbike in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo State, Brazil when they spotted a disc-shaped object with rotating multicolored lights around its edge. They followed the object as it flew at a low altitude. It suddenly curved and released a smaller object that landed on the Avenue of Brasilia. They next saw a ramp come out of the object and a bright light came from inside the craft that illuminated the surrounding area. They were both surprised when three very short humanoids, only about 50cm in height, walked down the ramp. They had large heads and were carrying something resembling pens that emitted bright beams of red light. Later that night, other witnesses saw an object with what appeared to be several "stakes" underneath it, that stuck in the ground. Several ground marks in the form of holes forming a triangle were found at the site. (Source: Albert S. Rosales, Humanoid Contact Database 1996, citing UFO Genesis).

- In Lyon, Rhone department, France a triangular or round object was seenmoving silently at low altitude at 9:45 p.m. The craft was equipped with two large headlights and when passing over the witnesses one light was directed at them. Occupants were seen. (Source: GEIPAN, case 264).

- A single witness in London, England reported seeing a silver, shining wedge-shaped object that moved through the sky silently at 3:30 p.m. for 15 minutes. (Source: Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, Aug. 2000 webpage, report uploaded December 2, 2000).

- At 9:00 p.m. in Mattawa, Ontario, Canada a large group of people watched several lights move erratically and do loops in the sky for an hour. (Source: Geoff Dittman, 2000 Canadian UFO Survey, case # 155).

- The Matlock Mercury newspaper reported how a disc-shaped object had been captured on video as it hovered quietly for six minutes over Bonsall Moor, The Dalles, Derbyshire, England in October 2000. It has been declared the "best UFO video ever" by some experts. At 10:45 p.m. Karen Sismey looked out from the Thorn Tree Inn and spotted a very similar object in the same area. It showed very vivid colors "with red at the bottom, and then ranging from emerald and blue colors to bright lemon yellow." Other visitors to the inn saw it, too. (George A. Filer & David E. Twitchell, Filer's Files: Worldwide Reports of UFO Sightings, p. 48).

- In Toronto, Ontario, Canada ten witnesses watched several triangular objects that hovered over Lake Ontario at 11:30 p.m. They were seen scooping up water, and during a close approach an intense heat was felt. (Source: Geoff Dittman, 2002 Canadian UFO Survey, case # 372, citing NUFORC).

- A man was out for a midnight stroll in Winterset, Iowa and on his way back home at around 12:30 a.m he looked up into the sky and saw what appeared to be a saucer-shaped object, about as large as anything he had ever seen. It was just hovering there silently. Next, two more similar looking, silent objects appeared. All three craft had lights that changed color from red to white and then to green. The witness made several hand gestures at the UFOs and they seemed to respond back to him. He suddenly felt that there was someone behind him, so he turned around and saw a small Grey being, about 3 ½ to 4ft tall, with a pear-shaped head, huge eyes and no visible mouth. It communicated with the witness via telepathy. The creature and the witness exchanged messages back and forth for about five minutes. The creature communicated that they were not here to harm us, but were here just to view and observe us. The witness then asked about the “Roswell” crash and the creature supposedly confirmed that the event had indeed taken place, and added that they “had been trying to get their ship back”. After this the small creature turned around and entered one of the hovering craft, and then all three took off, emitting a final light show before disappearing from sight. (Source: Albert S. Rosales, Humanoid Contact Database 2006, citing Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, August 2006 archived webpage).

- At nine p.m. an oval-shaped circular object with very bright lights was seen hovering and gliding from side to side laterally in the sky over Aliso Viejo, Orange County, California for 20 minutes. (Source: Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, August 2007 webpage, report uploaded October 8, 2007).
