Encounters with Aliens on this Day
1941 - At 2:15 p.m. a gleaming aluminum or chrome colored disc-shaped object sped silently across the skies of Utica, New York from west to east. It disappeared in 10 seconds. There were two independent witnesses. (Source: Gordon I. R. Lore, Jr. & Harold H. Dennault, Jr., Mysteries of the Skies: UFOs in Perspective, p. 141).
1944 - Two huge orange glowing spheres followed a U.S. Army Air Force warplane from the 415th NFS at 10,000 feet altitude over Hagenau, France in the Bas-Rhine region. The pilots names were McFalls and Baker. 1959 - Kenneth Lindsey was walking along a road near Modesto, California at around 11:50 at night when he saw a bright, orange bowl-shaped object descend to about 20 feet above the road, extending across the entire roadway. "On it I could see shadows which appeared to be moving, but I could not distinguish what they were." After two minutes it rose again into the air. There were others in the neighborhood who also saw the object. The object was described as being as wide as the road. (Sources: David F. Webb and Ted Bloecher, HUMCAT: Catalogue of Humanoid Reports, case 1959-14, citing Coral Lorenzen, APRO Bulletin, January 1960; Jacques Vallee, Passport to Magonia: A Century of Landings, case # 500; Flying Saucer Review, May 1960, p. 21).
1962 - At three a.m. a large fiery disc was observed on the runway by two control tower operators and the flight crews of two aircraft at Ezeiza Airport, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The UFO rose to 10 meters altitude, hovered a short while, then flew off toward the northeast. (Source: Dominique Weinstein, Aircraft UFO Encounters, p. 33).
1966 - At 12:45 a.m. EST a frosty white UFO with a central
bright spot, shaped like an ellipse and making a humming sound, swung in a
pendulum motion over Cuttingsville, Vermont. The street lights went
off and on three times during the sighting. (Sources: Raymond E. Fowler,
case files, report dated December 27, 1966; Raymond E Fowler, UFOs:

1967 - Six teenagers observed a silver, saucer-shaped object
with a pointed top hovering over Holmes County, Ohio.
The UFO was about ten meters in diameter. A wave of heat was felt when
it passed overhead. The duration of the encounter was two minutes. On
the same evening a silvery disc with multicolored body lights around
its perimeter buzzed a car in Millersburg, Ohio. (Sources: (1) George

1971 - A married couple name Castillo had a bright light pace their car in Osuna, Sevilla province, Spain. There was heavy radio interference on the car radio, and their dog in the car became quite excited. They then saw a strange object hovering by the side of road, rocking back and forth and making a shrill whistling sound. (Sources: Mark Rodeghier, UFO Reports Involving Vehicle Interference, p. 52; Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos, Catalogue of 200 Type-I UFO Events in Spain and Portugal, p. 151).
1971 - While photographing their catch at the harbor of Punta Norte, Chabut province, Argentina, on this afternoon some seal hunters also captured photographs of a large circular craft with a reddish glow as it emerged from the rolling sea. It flew directly toward them, then curved away and flew out to sea. (Source: Wendelle C. Stevens, Saga UFO Report, March 1977, p. 38).
1972 - Two men in a vehicle saw a tall thin, glowing figure standing on the roadway as they drove around a curve in Kauhajoki, Finland at two o'clock in the morning. The beam of the car headlights appeared to curve upon striking the figure. It disappeared into a field. (Source: APRO Bulletin, January-February 1973, p. 13).
1974 - In Fairfield, Ohio at 10:30 p.m., 82-year-old Mrs. Pannersley noticed a light shining into her bedroom, and looked outside and saw a "boat shaped" or oblong object hovering over a neighbor's house. The UFO, 50-60 feet wide, had green and white lights around the base, was oval shaped with a brightly lit dome on top, and seemed to be rotating. It gently rose and fell above the neighbor's house for about 20 minutes, and then moved to a new position above a nearby church. A white light shone from 3 or 4 square windows around the upper portion. Inside the dome two small dark, humanoid figures, described as "little people," could be seen moving back and forth in "cramped positions," continually gesturing to each other with their arms "like people who talk with their hands." The beings ignored the witness, and were visible only from the waist up. The object remained over the church nearly a half an hour, rising and falling gently, and then it moved horizontally a short distance and shot upwards at a high speed. (Sources: Leonard H. Webb & Ted Bloecher, HUMCAT: Catalogue of Humanoid Reports, case 1974-59 (A1377), citing Geri Wilhelm & Leonard Stringfield).
1977 - At 2:00 a.m. a huge metallic white disc, with red blinking lights on the top and bottom, approached an Air Canada Boeing 747 airliner flying over the North Atlantic, then flew parallel to it for 20 minutes. It emitted green "smoke" from its underside, then sped out of sight. (Sources: Dominique Weinstein, Aircraft UFO Encounters, p. 41, citing Jan Aldrich; Richard H. Hall, The UFO Evidence, Volume II: A Thirty-Year Report, pp. 22, 124).
1977 - At 11:40 p.m. a white circular object paced a TWA airliner flying 600 miles east of Boston, Massachusetts over the Atlantic Ocean for 20 minutes. (Source: APRO Bulletin, April 1978, p. 5; Dominique Weinstein, Aircraft UFO Encounters, p. 41, citing Jan Aldrich).
1978 - At 12:15 a.m. a dark domed object first hovered above some 10 KV power lines in Casalnuova near Naples, Italy, then landed in a field. The object had an intense while light on the dome, two green intermittent lights, and was estimated to be 30 meters in diameter by the witnesses, Mr. & Mrs. Giuseppe Schettino. It made a rushing sound. A triangular imprint pattern was found at the landing site. Soil analysis revealed differences in the Carbon, Nitrogen, and pH levels in volatile materials compared to a control sample. (Sources: U. Talarico, UNICAT database, case # 456, citing Lumieres dans la Nuit, July 1985, p. 26; Richard H. Hall, The UFO Evidence, Volume II: A Thirty-Year Report, pp. 265, 352).
1978 - At 2:45 a.m. three dome shaped UFOs flew in formation over several parts of the city of La Rioja, Argentina at an estimated 1000 meters altitude. They lit up the sky like daylight, and the formation was led by the biggest of the domed craft. They flew along for 3-4 minutes, then shot up into the sky, leaving behind a blue trail. At 3:00 a.m. an elongated UFO with red and blue flashing lights was also seen near the international airport of Cordoba, Argentina. It made no noise. The rear part of the craft had a green dome, and emitted an intense luminosity. At 3:15 a.m. a disc-shaped object accompanied by two smaller satellite objects was seen by two married couples on Highway 45 in Malagueno, Argentina. The objects seen linked by a luminous white trail. They moved very slowly and had multicolored lights. They flew into a cluster of clouds that stayed illuminated for several more minutes. 1978 - Many passengers on a bus traveling between La Dolores and Cordoba, Argentina saw a slow moving, elongated object flying at low altitude in the pre-dawn hours. It had red and blue flashing lights similar to electric welding flashes. (Source: Jane Thomas, UFO Newspaper Clipping Service, April 1979, p. 13, citing La Razon newspaper, December 23, 1978).
1994 - At 9:00 p.m. a nine-foot-tall giant was seen standing in front of a house in Yatzitz, Israel. It wore metallic coveralls, and was surrounded by a glowing haze with blurred facial features. The police were called, but by the time they had arrived the giant had gone. However, giant footprint tracks were found in the area. There were two male witnesses named Ezra and Casatini. (Source: Albert S. Rosales, Humanoid Contact Database 1994, case # 2110, citing Barry Chamish).
1998 - A witness in a convent in Rosheim, Bas-Rhine department, France saw a serpent shape in the sky made up of red and white discs. The luminous form moved quickly across the sky for about a minute. It was big, about 10 meters in height by 2-3 meters in width. It rose 15-20 meters in altitude, and passed within 100 feet. (Source: French GEIPAN database, case # 303).
2004 - An oval-shaped object with rings of multicolored rotating lights flew slowly over a house in Trail, British Columbia at 7:25 p.m. (Source: Geoff Dittman, Canadian UFO Survey 2004, case # 868, citing HBCCUFO).
