REPORT
David lives in Noosaville, on the Sunshine Coast near the river. On saturday night 6.Jan 2001 at 9.28pm he and his mate went to sit outside for a smoke, when they saw a pulsating flashing light coming out of a cloud just over their house. He said it was a low cloud and that no noise could be heard.

It was a very bright light, flashing in rhythm that is why he said, he knew it was not lightning. It lasted about a minute, then it stopped. He also said at the same time the Lorikeets that rest in the tree in their garden, went mad, like he had never heard them before, but as soon as the lights stopped flashing they went quite. I also spoke to his mate, who said the other night he was sitting in the garden and felt something watching him, he looked and saw a funny shape moving trying to hide in the trees, he said it was almost blending in with the trees, but when it moved he could make out a funny shape, like a large hat silhouette that you could see through. He said he did not mind telling me he was scared and had trouble sleeping.

They will ring us again if anything further happens.
