On the 30.05.01 Tracy and her husband were about to go inside for dinner at a friends house, when he girl friend noticed a bright amber orange coloured light in the sky about 30 feet above the roof of the house. Tracy's husband stated it was about the size of a 20k gas cylinder at that distance and Tracy said she thought she could see what was a dome shaped object positioned on top of the orange ball of light. The witnesses said the object went over the top of Tracy's friends house and headed towards Coffs Habour. They were amazed at how low the light or object was gliding along. All witnesses watched this event for 20 minutes, which included two of their closest friends and 4 children. This incident commenced at around 6:30 pm. Just after 7 pm they noticed another object passing over the area traveling exactly the same path as the first. It apparently was also heading toward Coffs Harbour. It was a reasonably clear, moonlight night with periodic cloud cover. No noise could be heard coming from the light or object as it glided past them. Tracy and her husband stated it was flying alot slower than a plane and only increased altitude once it passed over the house. These objects were seen by other witnesses and consequently a story was published in the Bellign Shire Courier. Tracy is sending me a copy of the newspaper article.
