Hi everyone, this was a good one....could be further investigated...

Date of sighting....16/06/01.
Location....Wantirna...Victoria..(foothills of Dandenong Ranges, South East of Melbourne)

Number of witnesses...2.

This lady called Diane reported she saw a "FLYING SAUCER" over Wantirna at about 10pm on Saturday night. She was outside when she saw it. It travelled East, then went South...it looked like two "cups" joined together. She said it was 'deeper' than the 'typical' saucer. It was domed on top and had a dome underside as well. At onestage it decended, but remained level when doing so. It made no sound...went off towards the dandenongs..very smooth and fast. It had lights around just below the middle.

Diane described herself as skeptical...however now that she has seen this she is in a little turmoil trying to accomodate the reality of the sighting. At the time of the sighting she got her husband to look too, to varify it to her so she knew she wasn't hallucinating.

He saw it too, but at a further distance than she had.

She is now going through what I call the "post sighting stress syndrome". As a result, she spent the whole day looking up in the hope of seeing it again.
She really wants to see this thing again.
She will call us if she sees another one.
