I was most interested in a few lines in the Byron Echo newspaper (5 August) concerning 3 Ocean Shores residents who saw & photographed 2 ufos on Sunday 27 July, between 8 & 8.30pm, north of Byron Bay. Also a letter (7 August) from Ri Fraser of Ocean Shores, N.E. NSW, who saw the same thing that night with her daughter & her partner, 6 witnesses in all so far, & Ri described 2 bright yellow-orange lights, brighter than a star, rise steadily from the east, first one & then a few moments later a second travelling the same route, move slowly in a northwest direction, then moved away in a vertical direction, away from the Earth, then arc to the north. The second ufo pulsed and turned off & on twice before vanishing in the same direction as the first. I will try to obtain the photo.

Friends, some time back, mentioned that a couple of years ago they saw two large, bright orange spheres of light travel noiselessly low overhead over Ocean Shores travelling south. It would be interesting to hear from others who have also witnessed these objects.
