Duration: Approx 5-6 seconds "Its hard to know"
Direction: Facing the horizon, the object moved
parallel to the ocean.
Size of object: Street lamp size
Shape: Rounded
Lights/Colour: No discernible colour - pulsating white light
Noise: No audible sound
Weather conditions: Fine day, with light scattered clouds.
Activity seen: Looking upwards whilst on the mobile telephone
talking to his sister in Perth, reportee sighted an object the size
of a street light in the sky. The object seemed to be pulsating
a bright white light. At first the reportee thought the object was
a plane, but then realised that due to the speed the object was
travelling at, this most certainly was not the case.
The reportee watched the object in the distance "scream across
the sky" about three times, each time covering a distance of
about 5 metres , (which he figured would be in real terms about
5 to 6 km's) in a matter of seconds. The object then entered a
cloud and did not reappear.
Additional Info: The sister of this reportee logged the sighting,
as her brother could not do so from Broome. I have since spoken
with both to confirm details were correct.
Shayne can recall seeing "UFO's" five or six times before, and
he recalls that when he was 10 or 11 years old he was with a
few other people when they all saw a craft in Onslow which
had a silver base sitting at water level. The object had an orange
light. (He is a little unsure of the light/colour details as it happened
over 25 years ago.) They watched this for a while before they all
got scared and ran off. He recalls that one of the mothers reported
this sighting.
