Report:
Tony said: I got up early has I do to get ready
for work around 4.30 am in the morning being
keen to know how the day is going to pan out
weather wish I always look up at the sky to see
if there are any clouds rain ya know, but it was
clear and still dark and I could still see stars, not
a cloud in sight.
Tony said: I'm not a nut ya know I don't star
gaze or look for things in the sky I just want
you to know that okay. But what I saw was
like nothing I've ever seen before.
A strange flash of light like lightning just came
from nowhere it sheeted across the sky you
know like fork lightning but it was yellowish in
colour.
"What was really strange was there was no bloody
clouds around or storm activity (very strange)"
Then this bright light appeared bigger than a star
in the spot where the flash ended and disappeared.
The light pulsed on and off for a few seconds then
it disappeared.
Tony rang William Town RAAF base to inform them of
what he had seen they told me to call AUFORN, they
took his phone number and address and said if any
incidents had accrued they would get back to him and
thanked him for calling.
