This case was passed on to me weeks ago...I called ...the person was not available at the time Sonya in Melton(vic). Around June 7th.

Same person now reports new encounter, Happened 12:05AM Saturday Aug 26 2000. While driving along Western hwy from Sunshine to Melton ...before Rockbank...saw 3 orange lights, similar to the southern cross 'pointers, only 3 and only orange colour...lower than planes... higher than treeline...no noise... no movement but getting closer as car was approaching in the direction of these lights.
Car passed UNDER these 3 lights. Other motorists had stopped and got out of their cars and were watching these lights...observer said that when close to these things that they were about the size of TENNIS BALLS only....they had a hovering behavior ....had reflective look about them..... witness drove home and returned approx - 10 mins later....with camera in hand.....lights had moved on.

Bad luck hey.
This report reminds me that I've recently heard these small things referred to as 'Orbs' and tennis ball sized ones are apparently 'popping up' all over the place. Cheers.
