Date of sighting: 13 / October / 2001
Location: Rye, Victoria.
Time of sighting: 9pm approx.

Witness was in her bedroom which faces North when she noticed very strong 'beam' of light coming in through a gap in the curtains. She opened the curtains to see. She noticed a very large red "sparkly ball" in the sky a few blocks away. This surprised her because the beam of light was of 'white light'.

Soon, the light went downwards then just disappeared, like it suddenly shrank or just vanished, in a split second. She heard a ' whooshing' sound and a rustling sound...and her cat ran off in fright...it was "spooked". The witness felt the object was 'paranormal'. When I asked her what she meant by this she said that it was definately "out of the ordinary"...not the 'usual' type of object.

The witness then reported that she suffers from acute intolerance to Electro Magnetic Radiation. She did not report any ill effects from the sighting.
