Height & Speed: it was well above the clouds, i dont know the speeds that it was going, maybe the speed of a aircraft when it was moving around but when it left it went extreamly fast
Follow-up Information from Brian Vike
The night was very still and their were actually no clouds in the sky. I said that they were above the clouds just as a basis on how high I think that it was. It was in the east of the sky and it was not over the horizon. It was between strait above me and just before the horizon. It did not move very fast at all until it actually left our planet. The object moved Forward-Stopped-Left-Stopped-Backwards-Stopped-Forward again-Stopped-Backwards and left-Stopped, then it finally moved right and stopped.
It would stay stationary every time it stopped for about 5-6 seconds before it moved off again. The last time it stopped, it stayed their for about 2 minutes then it vanished at a extremely fast speed. I reckon it would have had to have been 0-100 in 1 second. The light trail it left stayed their for about 0.5 seconds before it dissipated. Also the size of it would be about 2-3cm's diameter and it was completely and perfectly round. The object just looked like a perfect bright orange dot in the sky. I observed this object for about 10-15 minutes before it disappeared in the speed explained above, their were no other aircraft in the air at the time and the area that I made the sighting was not near any research base or airport facility. It was in a fully populated suburban area. I have actually seen this type of bright orange light before about 4 years ago, but it just moved strait up and out of sight with no real speed or irregular movement so I thought nothing of it.
