Direction: Due North near Wellington Point

Report:

Ray said I went outside to talk on the phone with my brother, I looked up in the sky and noticed 12 cylinder shaped lights.

The objects moved in a circular motion but the one in the middle stayed in position. The light appeared to be coming from above. Ray said. the lights were strange and appeared to look fluorescent . They changed colour from white to blueish white then flicked on and off quicker than turning a light switch.

As we watched a bolt of what looked like lightning came out of the center of the circle of lights then the one in the middle shoot a beam of light from the center of it. The light went in the direction of Mt Cootha to the west.

The lights then shoot off at great speed in the direction of the beam of light, leaving a what looked like a white trail, then nothing.

Ray said, "it was very strange, there was no sound and I looked to see if I could see some sort of ground source, but saw nothing".
