On Sunday morning, the 2nd of April, around 5:20 am, Wanda and her husband had risen earlier than usual due to the end of daylight savings the night before. Their homestead is at Jingellic, east of Wagga, on the Murray River and is perched on the top of a hill. The two of them saw a huge bright light pass silently overhead. A loud ‘boom’ then followed this and the earth ‘shook’. The next day, having already called the hotline, Wanda heard from co-workers that there had been reports made on the ABC Goulbourn Murray radio station about a meteor that had come down. Since then, Wanda told me that a report was made in the Corryong Courier about a meteor. But, after checking online, no web archive was kept at the radio station of the broadcast, and the Corryong Courier does not have web news. One other callin has given corroborative statements to this report. The Corryong Courier is yet to respond to a request for their article.
