UFO SIGHTING REPORTNollamara, Perth, Western AustraliaMay 12th 2006UFOINFO Sighting Form Report Location: Nollamara, Perth, Western Australia, Australia Date: 05/12/06 14:40 Local time Approach Direction: stationary, did not see approach, looked skyward and noticed it Departure Direction: North Witness Direction: North Description: I was travelling with my wife from lunch at grammys and saw a very bright light in the sky some distance away but clearly visible due to it's magnificense. It was 2:40pm, perfectly clear, fine sunny day, approx 29 degrees C, no clouds. Light was similar to a star (white) with 'extra glow' exuding horizontally and slightly darker / shadowy directly above. I am very familiar with aircraft and knew this was not an aircraft, no navigation lights and not moving. After making an exclamation as to what the $@%# was in the sky I took off my sunglasses and put them back on, defocused and refocused my eyes. I watched this light for approx. 20 seconds before it accelerated at enormous speed northward and disappeared. I still have no explanation for what this might have been. Given the brightness of the day and irregularity / speed of movement I struggle to see how it could have been a sattelite or comet. Color/Shape: White, similiar to star with extra light exuding left and rigtht. Height & Speed: Height would have been approx 5000 feet. I did not see it arrive.
