UFO Sighting Report - Australia

Please note that the reports in this section have been submitted to UFOINFO/UFO ROUNDUP and accepted in good faith. No investigation has been carried out by UFOINFO.

With the increasing use of digital cameras we are seeing more photos showing alleged 'UFOs' - many of these could be insects, cloud shapes etc. As many readers have asked to see the photos I will be using some of them and leaving it up to the individual to make up their own mind - John @ UFOINFO.

My friends and I saw a flame in the air from our apartment roof. Thinking it was a plane on fire we recorded it onto our mobile phone. I thought it was a plane because it was traveling west coming from the airport which was east. We always see planes and helicopters coming from that direction but the only thing that was different was this object looked like it was on fire and moving at a steady speed which was faster then a plane would fly at lower altitude. Then the flame just went out. It appeared to be travelling at a fast speed upwards. Then at no time it flew over us changing its direction to a North West at a very very very fast speed.

Follow-up from Brian Vike:

New information has arise as the October 1st, 2006 sighting was not a UFO. I found out there was a footy match on that day and it was some plane that flew over the stadium. My source came from a work mate who watched the footy.
