Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Date: 01/21/07 11.20pm local time
Approach Direction: south east to north west
Departure Direction: headed north eastly before vanishing
Witness Direction: east
Description: went out onto the balcony at 11.15 and saw a bright light coming towards us over the city of Melbourne. It then turned in a complete L shape, no banking and slowing disappeared. Then we saw three army helicopters circling Melbourne for about twenty minutes.
