Location: Marrickville, NSW, Australia
Date: Sunday, 28/01/07, 10:30pm local time. Visible for about 20 minutes.
Approach Direction: South/West
Departure Direction: North/West
Witness Direction: South/West
Description: A cluster of seven very white blinking lights moving in a group from SW to NW. "Lights" appeared to be: dancing around each other; moving very fast; very high up in the sky. During the 20 minutes that my daughter and I were watching these "lights", we both experienced a sense of silence, as if we were the only people on the earth. All outside noise was shut out; we were not even aware of the noise from neighbours across the street who were having a party!
Color/Shape: Colour: seven very white blinking lights.
Shape: too high in the sky to determine.
Height & Speed: Unable to estimate.
