Source: AUFORN ONLINE UFO REPORT FORM

Name: Jia

Witnesses: 2

Sighting Duration: 3 minutes

Observation: Was trying to take pictures of the stars with the night setting on my 6 meg pixel camera when accidently caught which seemed at first to be a shooting star above scarborough beaches Laguna beach hotel. I have 2 pictures and when you zoom in one shows an almost spiraling trail of some sort and then a look at what ever it was that was what would seem to be falling object at super speed then stops dead (as seen in the second picture) for a few mintues and then it and the trail disappeared in a split second.

Actual Size: At the distance it was probably 3 or 4 times the size of a 747

Altitude: envelope of outer space then what looked like inside

Object Origin: down - Object

Destination: itself

Moon Visible: not in sight

Moon Size Comparison: tiny until you inlarge the pictures

Planets Visible: many

Weather Visibility: Clear

Viewing Aids: photographed

Effects Physical: no...apart from what was that!

Effects Psychological: felt lucky as on digital camera it was a million to one shot

Thank you Jia for sending AUFORN these images.

Comment: Jia appears to have captured something interesting, from the description of motion of the object ( an almost spiraling trail of some sort, at super speed then stops dead, as seen in the second picture for a few minutes and then it and the trail disappeared in a split second).

By this description this places this object as an unknown a UFO an unidentified flying object.

Thank you Jia "keep an eye on the sky, you never know what your going to capture next"
