POLICE OFFICE REPORTS UFO OVER GOLD COAST

24.04.08 GOLD COAST (QUEENSLAND) 1903hrs (CE-1)

Witness Name: Mrs X

Number of witnesses present: 1

Sighting Duration: 5 to 10 seconds

Occupation: Police Officer for many years.

Observation: I was standing in my back lawn looking at the stars, the Southern Cross etc. My dog(German Shepherd) standing beside me started growling. I then looked north in the sky and with the glow from streetlights etc I nearly fell back. I actually said "What the hell is that!" What I saw appeared(to me) to be just above the treetops travelling from north to south in a slow steady movement. This thing was 'V-shaped (triangle) with at least 4-5 round lights down each side of the 'V' yet they weren't lit however I could clearly see what I was seeing thanks to the lights from the ground illuminating up. The thing was huge and what I could see was to me the underneath of it. I watched it for about 10 or so seconds until it disappeared further south over trees...my line of view was then blocked. My dog then stopped growling!

Description: Strange thing was there was absolutely no sound as it glided past. There was absolutely no planes anywhere in the area at this time.

Location: (location kept private)

Other Witnesses: Unfortunately no-one.

Apparent Size Other: Like half the size of a jumbo jet

Altitude: Above tree top height. Huge gum trees on the golf course.

Object Origin: North

Object Destination: South

Moon Visible: I didn't notice sorry, I was amazed.

Planets Visible: Stars, it was a very clear night.

Weather Visibility: Clear

Pleasant, Calm

Effects Physical: No Effects

Psychological: Just mentally really thinking 'bloody hell, I really saw that'!!

Effects Other: No but my dog only barks/growls if someone/something is close to the house. She is a brilliant guard dog.

End Note: I have talked with the witness he said he is trained to be observant that's his job. He said the lights on the object were doom shape with the inner rim of the doom lit up, the object moved around 10 klm per hour, very slow for its size, with no sound. He said his dog is an x police dog and he is trained also. He informed his son of his sighting who told him to report it to a UFO Research Network.

He was happy to talk about the sighting and was amazed at what he had seen.

I will be following up on another Triangle craft witnessed 2 days later in Newport NSW.
