Sighting Duration: 3 minutes
Occupation: Retired

Observation: Outside Sinsations Nightclub in Mitchell A.C.T. I saw a large brilliant white light on the right hand ridgeline of Mount Ainslie, assuming it to be a car ascending the mountain, but then it appeared to be proceeding south to north over Campbell at a very low altitude at half the level of the summit.

While I was unsuccessfully trying to interest several others, it had vanished when I looked back at its previous location.

Altitude: 600 feet

Object Origin: south east

Weather Visibility: Clear, Cold

Effects Psychological: No, I am an old hand so to speak.
