Approx 10pm last night 20/8 I was talking on my phone from balcony of my unit high on south side of Maroubra beach. I witnessed a red light off the coast off Maroubra, it looked as if it were travelling toward me, I expected to see it turn and then see the common flashing lights of a plane of helicopter (as we see a lot of those in the area). To my shock as it turned right, out toward horizon there were no lights and it moved unlike any aircraft. As it moved to the right the light gradually turned a lighter colour, then gradually disappeared...

For the record I don't believe in UFO, but now I am completely freaked out by what I saw, as it was unlike anything I have seen and was not identifiable...

There must of been someone else that witnessed it?!
