Weather Conditions: Fine, no clouds near object, very windy

Description: My husband and I were camping and had seen several jets/aircraft passing near the dam, over the course of 3 days. We had established 2 distinct paths that the aircraft were using. This one sighted was very different. I heard no noise and the "aircraft" was very long and came from the opposite direction to the ones we had observed. As I watched it to see which direction it was heading it just disappeared in broad daylight! The night before in the same area my husband was watching the stars and observed 2 distinct bright flashes and then nothing. We both often watch the night sky and have never seen anything like this before.
