Shape of objects: A semi circle of light with a tail of light coming off the back at top and bottom

Weather Conditions: Clear sky

Description: Me and my boyfriend were driving home from the movies late at night. We were driving along a long unlit road with a clear view of sky, suddenly this large light appeared and was moving slowly across the sky in front of us from right to left, it was a single bright light that did not flicker or change color or shape. It looked as if the light was at the nose of the craft shining back onto itself lighting up its front section, but no color or reflection of an object was present. The light continued along for about ten seconds before just disappearing into no where. We had a clear view of the sky for miles, but we did not see it again.
