Sighting Duration: 5 minutes
Occupation: Dentist

Observation: I was standing on the outside balcony of the bowling club and saw a light in the sky to the east. It appeared like a satellite but didnt take the path of a satellite or maintain a smooth path that a satellite would take. It also blinked in and out of visibilty as it moved, varying in intensity between full and zero. I got the impression it was at low altitude.

It took a south westerly path, but seemed to deviate in quick small increments between fading out and re-appearing as it moved. Description: There was no sound or wing lights that you would normaly associate with a plane or chopper. The light appeared to blink in and out of visibility, and take very small deviations in position between re-appearnces, maintaining a reasonably constant path, but not straight direstion.

Location: At Baulkham Hills bowling club, on the balcony

Other Witnesses: There was no-one else on the balcony

Apparent Size Other: Bright star-like

Altitude: Low plane height

Object Origin: ? east

Object Destination: South west

Moon Visible: No

Moon Size Comparison: It was without shape- mainly a star like light

Planets Visible: It was a clear sky for a change, and yes there were stars there - I think the southern cross pointers were over in the south west?

Weather Visibility: Clear, Warm

Weather Comments: Some cloud low in the sky, but none up high.

Other Experiences: I have seen similar things in the past, but not for some time. I wondered if anyone else reported seeing this?
