Weather Conditions: Clear, calm, fine

Description: We noticed an orange/red circle in the sky whilst driving. It was moving slowly in the sky to our right. We stopped to observe this object. The object also seemed to stop. It was a very bright orange/red colour. It was about he size of a 50c piece. We had to move the car off the road and as we did the object also started to moved in the opposite direction to what it was going in when we first sighted it (to the left). It then moved to the right again. We then had to move the car and the object's glow slowly faded and disappeared. We were not sure what it was. At first thought it was a plane, but there was no noise at at that height you usually do hear something.
