Weather Conditions: Still. Unaware of cloud conditions.

Description: My girlfriend and I woke just after 5am, and while she was up going to the bathroom I began to hear a strange series of ringing noises that seemed to come from directly over-head. It sounded like there were a dozen or so different frequencies all overlapping, like the sound of a ringing glass, but some of the frequencies were much deeper. It was overall a beautiful and musical sound. It lasted for about 30 seconds, long enough for my girlfriend to hear on her return, then faded quickly. It could still be heard for a few moments much more faintly, then even fainter still for a few seconds.

This sound appeared to come from overhead, certainly did not come from a stereo, and was not from a passing car (no other vehicle sound, cul-de-sac street)

I report this as my sense was that it was 'unearthly', because I have had a clear sighting in the past, and because I believe this may be linked to the East Coast of Australia June 5th 2010 sightings. [Don't think so, that was caused by a rocket launch in Florida - John @ UFOINFO]

One point of interest: I have a life-size steel and wire sculpture on my roof of a man and woman seated at a table. It is unusual enough to investigate from above...
