Observation: It was outside on my back patio having a cigarette. Just looking up in the sky as I like to look at the stars. Then I suddenly noticed 6 to 7 balls of light moving quickly across the sky. What took me by surprise was how fast they moved and how they moved around each other. I have never seen anything like it before. As I do have an interest in aircraft, and this was definitely no plane. The balls of light were not that big. They were just like small stars in the sky, but I could tell they were a lot closer. That's about it.

Description: Small balls of light which was all moving in the one direction. Sort of in a horizontal position but they moved around each other

Location: hoppers crossing.

Apparent Size: Pea-Sized

Actual Size: hard to say.

Altitude: five to ten thousand feet.

Object Origin: From the north west.

Object Destination: they were heading to the south east direction.

Moon Visible: the moon was directly above and very bright

Moon Size Comparison: tiny compared to the moon small star size.

Planets Visible: yes don't know which ones.

Weather Visibility: Clear, Cold, Calm

Weather Comments: patches of cloud.

Effects Physical: it took me by surprise sent a cold shiver down spine never had I seen anything like it before.
