13.08.10 NEWELL BEACH, MOSSMAN (QLD) 18:30hrs

Sighting Duration: 3 second approx
Occupation: Creative Industries

Observation: Just parked car, on dark, walking to the restaurant with rob to have dinner with friends when I looked over the road and saw a trail of white, orange and red light. I said "look at that" and we both saw it trail to nothing just above building height.

Description: The shape of light is hard to explain, similar to an umbrella with the light underneath, if that makes sense and moving very fast.

Apparent Size Other: The like a basketball sized at least.

Altitude: Just above building height it disappeared into nothing.

Object Origin: North

Object Destination: South.

Moon Visible: Not in the direction I was looking if at all.

Moon Size Comparison: same size????

Planets Visible: not that i noticed

Weather Visibility: Clear, It was dark.
