Description: I was heading back home on the Princes Highway around 1:00am, when I spotted something from the distance, coming from the radio tower near William's Landing. It "glowed" orange and red lights, and it was quite noticeable even though it would probably have been 4-5 km away. As I passed the Kororoit Creek exit/entry, I realised it was going to pass over my car so I stopped on the side of the highway. I got out of the car, and looked up, and saw that it was flying probably around 400 - 500m from the ground. Triangle in shape, it had 4-5 spotlights underneath. I took out my phone and tried to record it, but the streetlights prevented my camera from taking any clear pictures or video. It was eerily silent. It carried on moving east towards Altona.

Seeing that I needed a better shot as proof, as it was not the first time I've seen something "different" in the sky around my area, I got off the highway and tried to follow it. By the team I got off and headed east, it was way ahead of me, probably passing by Cherry Lake by then.

The William's Landing/Hopper Crossing/Tarneit area apparantly have a no-fly zone, as I know someone who works at the RAAF base in the area. Especially the radar tower area, I've already seen 2 "foreign" crafts this year and a half and aircraft are strictly forbidden there.

I'm a plane enthusiast, and I've been to the Avalon International Airshow a couple of times, seeing the best jet fighters and helicopters perform at their peak. They all have something in common, being loud or make an excessive amount of noise to perform. This was not something from Australia's RAAF inventory, or any other nations that I know of. It moved like it was gliding, quickly without effort.
