Description: Hi. Firstly, the sighting I am describing here is a visual I have seen over a thousand times before in which I have always just passed off as a satellite or a weather balloon. Tonight. .....it was different. I feel I'm 99% sure I have a legitimate reason to report this. I live in a small city in rural N.S.W. I am a heavy smoker and don't smoke inside therefore I'm always outside during the night. I love to watch the stars and honestly do believe it's more than possible there is life beyond earth. But I am still a skeptic.

Nearly every night I've watched starlike objects, exactly the same size as a star to your vision, travel across the skys at a speed which seems a little faster than a passenger jet. I have always thought them to be satellites or weather balloons.

But this is in the dark of night. A couple of weeks ago I had thought to myself there were a lot more of these objects passing in the sky. Tonight one of these objects traveling at the speed I previously described turned at a 90 degree angle in a flash of my eyes. I was amazed. I continued to watch it disappear into the dark. I continued to watch the sky and a couple of minutes later another one of these lights was following the same path and disappeared in the exact same spot. This happened two more times, both disappearing in the same spot. I held my phone to the sky using the 'night sky' app and was able to conclude that all these lights were going out of vision in the very close vicinity of the constellation ORION.

After having a think i have realized that in the last couple of weeks I have actually been seeing more of these objects than usual and that I have been watching them go out of vision in the same place for a few years. I have never thought anything of these lights until tonight when 1 happened to make an impossible 90 degree turn.

The sky above this area needs to be observed. There was no moonlight tonight, why are they bright? Do satellites and balloons have lights? Why are they disappearing in the same place? I know what I saw tonight. I think I believe now.
