1985 : Between Moreton Island and Stradbroke Island, Queensland


UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: In between Moreton Island and Stradbroke Island

Date: It was a long time ago I think 1985

Approach Direction: Did not approach

Departure Direction: North wards towards Bribie Island.

Witness Direction: Looking at it on my own.

Description: Clearly saw a silver cylinder sun was reflecting on it. I stared at it for about 20 seconds and then it accelerated away at unbelievable speed. I thought it was a plane at first until it sped off, never seen anything move that fast was out of sight immediately.

Color/Shape: Silver cylinder

Height & Speed: Height 400 metres off water level speed incredibal

TV/Radio/Press: Yes in local paper Redcliffe Herald other people saw it as well but I kept silent as people dont beleive

Hello again I am not sure of the year but I am pretty sure it was between 1984 and 1986 a long time ago it was east looking straight out at Moreton Island 20 kms from Redcliffe in Queensland. It was a clear blue sky and the sun was high in the sky the object was still not moving between Moreton Island and Stradbroke Island I was staring at it for only a few seconds the sun was reflecting of it it was a very very shiny silver and then without any noise it took of horizontally at incredible speed north and the speed was incredible gone in an instant I wish I could tell you more regards
