I wish to inform you of an unusual experience that happened to me about 1993 on the back road to Branxton NSW from Kurri Kurri. I was called to Harpers Hill about a problem with the water supply pumping Stn at about 2.30am.

Whilst on route I noticed a very Large Object in the sky, it was so large that I pulled the vehicle up to look at the object. It was a perfect circle about the same size as the moon, respectively glowing red/orange with a kind of orange peel texture. It made no noise. The moon was up in the northern sky so it wasn't the moon. I couldn't believe it was so large. After watching it for about 5 minutes I could tell it was moving away from me as it got smaller.

Now the weird part of the story, a group of helicopters about 6 were following the object. They were very noisy and I got scared and left, watching the object disappear on the western sky. What do you think it could have been?
