I have also seen other orange lights flying back and forth at night on 7th and 8th of February.

Witness: Mr. Adam
Number of witnesses present: 3
Sighting Duration: Was only aware of the object when I downloaded the pics later that night
Occupation: Bricklayer

Observation: We were at the end of a 4 day fishing trip. Had just caught two trout, only fish we caught and I took a few scenery shots.

Location: Axe Track, 4x4 track that comes off the I Licola Road

Other Witnesses: 2 others about 100 meters away but out of sight

Apparent Size Other: Not sure

Actual Size: Don't know

Weather Visibility: Clear, Warm, Calm

Weather Comments: Beautiful clear evening

Viewing Aids: Photographed

Effects Physical: I got back to the camp sight 45 minutes later than the time I should have even though I was keeping an eye on the time because we had to leave before it got too dark. I also felt very exited but I believe that was because of the 2 fish I had just caught.

Other Experiences: At my house in Hurstbridge I looked up at the sky at night and saw a slightly elongated triangle of stars traveling north. I told my girlfriend to keep an eye on it as I ran inside and got my parents. We watched it disappear into the distance and watched these flashes in the sky for a further 45 to an hour. They were in different places in the sky and moved small amounts at random. There was also a lot of satellites going over. I have seen these flashing points of light on various occasions. Another time me and my dad watched this thing flashing for approx. 25 minutes. It flashed at about 5 to 30 second intervals. It flashed very dull and quick the last couple of times and from the point it had last flashed it shot off like a bright shooting star almost straight down to the horizon. Hope you can tell me more about this.

Witness: Mr. Greg
Number of witnesses present: 1
Sighting Duration: 15 - 20 seconds.
Occupation: Support Worker.

Observation: The night of the 8th was a full moon, I live in the bush 30Ks from Bathurst,a bright and clear moon lit night,at the time of the sighting the moon was unobscured by cloud. At 9.05 pm I sat in my chair on the veranda looked up at the moon and saw an object at first thought to be an aircraft which I see every night either international or interstate and local-twin engine turbo prop Sydney to Bathurst, usually on approach to Bathurst Airport or just after take off. The jetliners mentioned earlier, either interstate or international tracking west at varying altitudes all aircraft seen have navigation (strobing) lights at long distances strobing lights can be seen-which is the idea.

Getting back to the sighting,I sat in my chair my glasses were on my head and my binoculars in my lap I saw an object pass across the face of the right to left approx. north easterly track, at this stage I knew the object was not an aircraft of an ocular of objective distortion made by my binoculars or similar reflection made by my glasses.

The green/blue light object was passing across the face of the moon clearly seen with my short sighted eyes without glasses or bins.

It was as the object passed across the moon I looked up and saw another object same green/blues light above on the same track but much higher, the now lower object was easier to see because of the bright reflected light from the moon the higher one, less noticeable, obviously didn't pass in lighted proximity to the moon. Both objects seemed to move very rapidly away (in comparison to Qantas Jet) continuing north easterly track. The two object seemed to move away in unison.

Both objects seemed not to deviate when moving away. I could only examine one object at a time because of the great vertical distance separating them.

Description: When either object was examined with the binoculars, the objects seemed to be of a green/blue colour gave the feeling of moving at great speed in unison. I observed atmospheric distortions through the binoculars as the objects moved away the green/blue colour seemed to fade.

Location: Wisemans Creek 30 Kilometers from Bathurst and 30 Kilometers from Oberon

Apparent Size: Pea-Sized

Altitude: Live at approx. 1300 mts above sea level

Object Origin: North easterly flight path. Coming from easterly

Moon Visible: Bright clear full moon lit night.

Moon Size Comparison: Twice to 3 times Pea size compared to a dinner plate

Planets Visible: Yes

Weather Visibility: Clear, Hot, Cloudy, Calm

Viewing Aids: binoculars

Effects Physical: No.

I started to get a bit spooked, all alone in my truck in the middle of a long black runway. Immediately this object?? silently fell bellow the SOUTHern horizon in about 2 seconds.

Source: AUFORN ONLINE UFO Report Form
Witness: Mr. Richard
Number of witnesses present: 6
Sighting Duration: 2 minutes.
Occupation: Student.

Observation: I was away camping with my family and girlfriend in Mallacoota (north of victoria, almost over the NSW border) It was a clear night, no wind and no clouds. As every night we were away, we'd sit outside till around 12am just talking, looking at the starts, playing cards etc. When looking to the east on top of the hill where the radio towers are (I'm not sure what the hill name is) my father discovered a red light slowly heading south just above the mountain. At first we thought it was one of those fireworks that come down with a parachute being let off because new years eve had just passed, but after a good 5 minutes it was still heading south, not falling, just slowly drifting.

Not too long after that, the red light split in two. The original object continued it's path, while the second looked like it fell to the ground in a slow fashion, going out of site behind the hill/mountain. After 2-3 minutes more, the original object slowly faded into nothing and disappeared.

All 6 of us witnessed this account, and the following day, our camping neighbors told us they had seen it to.

Description: From where we were, the object appeared to just be a red light, small, off in the distance. It made absolute no sounds, which ruled out our thought of a firework or helicopters, because on a dead silent night like that, you can hear them from miles away. It was traveling what seemed to be EXTREMELY slow.. too slow for what a plane could travel at, and if a helicopter was moving that slow at a distance where it were visible, we would be able to hear it.

It split in two, and the second object went a completely different direction to the first, which was very confusing

Location: Mallacoota foreground campground (Buckland Dr)

Other Witnesses: I was with my entire family and girlfriend.

Apparent Size: Pea-Sized

Actual Size: Unfortunately, I have no idea on what distance away the object was. My guess is it would be pretty big, considering how slow the object was moving with no sound, but it was still visible from where I was

Altitude: If the object were at a great distance, it would be pretty high up. From what I saw, it was just slightly higher then the mountain I was viewing it over

Object Origin: Not sure where it came from, but it headed south from east.

Object Destination: South. The second part that 'broke off' headed to the ground slowly Moon Visible: Not sure on the moon

Planets Visible: A lot of stars, not sure about planets. It wasn't one of these though, it was definitely moving inside earth.

Weather Visibility: Clear, Pleasant, Calm.

Effects Psychological: A slight confusion / anxiety of what it was when I was trying to sleep.

Observation: The event took place near: A Military Airfield or Base Object had an: Aura or Haze around it. The object emit beams of light: Object emitted beams of light changed colors

Objects Shape: Cross

Number of objects: 1

29 Jan 09 9.30pm (approx.), a brilliant white light (extremely bright) which appeared to be stationary in the sky in a westerly direction. The light could best be described as being 1000% brighter than anything else in the sky at the time, and 15-20 times bigger than your average star. the light itself was not a complete ball of light, but the best way I can describe it would be as a 5 spoke car wheel of illuminated light shining so brightly it gives itself the impression of being a solid mass of light.

Around this centre mass of light was a pale blueish purple halo which ringed the centre mass and seemed to be pulsating slightly. The purple halo seemed to be emitting segmented beams of light (think lightning but right angles) these beams seemed to change from the blueish purple colour as they emerged from the halo to a pale red at the end.

This was visible for about an hour at its brightest (9.30-10.30pm) after which it seemed to diminish slowly (it truly looked like it died) until it was completely burnt out by 11.30pm.

Observation: A couple of mates and myself were on a fishing trip in Camperdown, Victoria. It was a quiet night and we where sitting around waiting for the fish to come on the bite whilst we were enjoying ourself and watching the stars when this funny shaped object appeared from out of no where. I tried to record it on my mobile phone but the camera footage was to bleary. The time was approximately 11:45pm and the sky was quite clear with very few small clouds in sight.

The experience lasted at least 30 seconds or more, the object was extremely high but it was still visible. The object started from the North East sky and drifted to the South West. It glowed yellow and white for around 10 - 15 seconds followed by a bright orange. Within at least 25 seconds the object started to speed up slightly and then vanished into thin air leaving a slight yellow mist behind.

It was our first sitting of any UFO, we will not forget the experience due to the event was very exiting and the most mysterious thing that had ever happened to us. Especially because before the object came into our view we were talking about Aliens and UFO's for a long period of time.

Additional Information: The Lake Bullin N' Mary

Object had lights

Object left a vapor trail

Aircraft in the area: There were aircraft in the area

Observation: My wife and I, were on the front patio at 5.50 pm on the 4th of FEB 2009 facing south looking in the direction of Surfers Paradise, When we noticed a bright orange / yellowish light through the tree across the street, It was about 15 degrees to the horizon to the south west, The object was traveling towards us slowly for about 30 or 40 second, we thought it was a helicopter with a search light or something at first then we noticed that there were no flashing lights at this time the object was a bit smaller than the size of a five cent piece held at arms length. I asked my wife to retrieved my binoculars from inside, By this time the object was traveling vertical at considerable speed , It travelled upwards going behind a small cloud for about 4 seconds easy seen though the cloud but it was not as large, reappearing above the cloud in clear view the object came to a halt and hovered for about 3 to 5 seconds at about 80 degrees to the horizon in the south east, I was looking through the binoculars by this time but could still only make out a fuzzy yellowish / orange ball shape, The object proceeded to take off in a north western direction, at such an astronomical speed that with-in about 10 seconds the object disappeared into the distance to the north west at about 25 degrees to the horizon.

Object had an: Aura or Haze around it
