Thunder Bay, Ontario Orange Copper Colored Object Makes "S' Turn

Time: 12:20 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Above our house, over the city.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Round.

Full Description of event/sighting: Looked like a satellite that moves across the sky and twice as big. It was orange copper in the light coming from it....like a street light but brighter. It moved in a staright line like a satellite but much faster, then it did a "S" shape, but not a perfect "S" it was a tilted S so that it was going right and up, left and down then up again. During the S shape it picked up great speed and as it accelerated upward it disappeared into darkness. There was no streak or tail, no sound, and it looked high up like a satellite, but you could tell it was lower, as it maneuvered you could see that there was like a metal texture....that it wasn't pure light. My wife saw it first and pointed up and said "look", I saw it right away as it was the biggest and brightest object in the sky. First sighting ever for both of us. It lasted about 8 seconds or more.

We are both university educated people, I am a teacher myself.
