St. Lazare, Quebec Pink And Green Lights

Me and a few friends were walking home at night, it was a clear sky, I don't even remember the moon being visible. To get home I have to walk around a sandpit. As we approached the sand pit my friend noticed a flash of light, and we all looked up. I started running towards it, it was right above the trees. I was looking up at the trail of light as it went away. It flew in the shape of a "J" and started to spiral down to the side. It was a metal ball and as it spiraled pink and green lights shot out of it. It made no noise at all and we watched it for two minutes until it went down into the trees. I think it was about the size of a Beetle (the car). It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It's exactly a week later and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I went back to the same place, same time. I didn't see anything, but I found out that other friends of mine had been walking in the same area four days after the 8th and saw something in the sky they weren't sure if it was circular like the one we had seen. But they saw a flash of light and then pink and green lights.
