Location: Pickering Ontario
  Whitevale Road

Date: 10 / 12 / 2006 7:57pm EST

Approach Direction: Static

Departure Direction: Static

Witness Direction: Looking South East Towards Pickering and Eastern Toronto.

Description: Large very bright light approx 10x what a normal aircraft or helicopeter would be also not on a "typical" flight path area

There were two other lights nearby. Brightest object I have seen in the sky ever.

When driving westbound on Whitevale Road I was struck with the lights and then noticed how bright the one light was. I also realised that the lights formed a triangle shape

When I moved down the road to get a better view it was gone and one light remained which appears to have been a helicopter which I assume was one of the lights near by the bright light (of the 3)

Note I stoped the car and took a picture with my cell phone which is very dim picture but the one light is very visiable in the picture...which is remarkable as the camera is not that good at low light pick up ...??

Also I am a keen nite sky observer so I am pretty sure it was not A an airplane or b a star or planet.

Color/Shape: Intense bright light clear but more blue than orange in tempature

Height & Speed: static while observed 2 - 3 minutes

TV/Radio/Press: I have monitored the radio / TV newspaper but heard nothing
