Location: Whitby, Ontario, Canada

Date: 03/13/07 about 11:15 pm local time

Approach Direction: Coming from the west

Departure Direction: Going east

Witness Direction: South

Description: My boyfriend saw this and phoned me right away. He is a rational man who does not make things up so here I am on your site. It was night, I think overcast, and off in the distance to the west approached what he thought at first was a helicopter. As it drew closer, he couldnt figure out what it was. It moved soundlessly just over the trees across the parking lot of his apartment building. He watched it for about 30 seconds to a minute, he says. It was a large dark triangular shadow with a small white light on each corner. On top of it(?) was a huge round white light facing north but it didnt cast a beam. It floated toward Oshawa. My boyfriend thinks he's losing his mind. Was this a military plane?

Color/Shape: Large, dark triangle. Three white lights and a large round white light on top.

Height & Speed: Can't estimated. A short ways above the trees. Crept along in complete silence at a steady speed, not fast, not slow.
