Weather Conditions: clear

Description: We were driving on highway 2 south towards calgary passing through airdrie. I saw a bright object moving in an easterly direction. I couldn't tell what it was. I actually thought it was a plane at first until it slowly just faded into nothingness!

Just to make sure i watched other planes, since we were close to the calgary airport. I saw many planes where sun was reflecting off them. Now when they turned and were no longer reflecting, i could still see the planes even kilometers away. The object i saw was much closer than many of these planes. It just dissapeared.
