Lumsden Beach, well over 100 objects in formation head north
Saturday February 16th between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM (CST) a formation of
well over 100 amber coloured lights were observed flying over the area of
Lumsden Beach and were heading North. The lights were flying in pairs with
one light tagging along on its own in the back of the formation. The
lights were observed for a period of 3 to 4 minutes. Last seen when they
had flown 'beyond the range of sight' of the witness. The amber coloured
lights remained constant and never changed in intensity. There was
absolutely no sound associated with the formation.
The witness's wife was
also present and had watched the formation fly overhead for a period of
one to one and a half minutes before going back inside the house. The
witness himself said that he has seen many meteor showers to know that
that was NOT a meteor shower. He also believes IF those objects had been
over a hundred military jets, he would have heard sounds. He has never
seen anything like it before and says that there just has to be other
folks out there who may have seen it as well.
Thank you to the witness.
Barb's note: We received a report from a witness in Regina (approx 6 hours after the above sighting) who saw a v-formation of 30 or so objects heading North.
Further note: Lumsden is near the City of Regina.
