Weather Conditions: Pretty clear a little high altitude hazy cloud layer

Description: I was outside just having a cig. I seen what i thought at first was a flare that was shot into the sky. I first seen it coming high over my garage. It was moving at a pretty good speed. In few seconds it was over head. I could only make out it seemed to be Yellowish/Bright Orange in colour But the sides had a greenish hue to it. I couldnt make out a shape to the object. I thought now thats weird cause it was way brighter then anything in the sky, also at this point if it was a plane I would here something engine noise jet sounds but I never heard anything. I watched it continue to go by and i noticed also the slight layers of clouds it was under the cloud layer also. It was on a North path Pretty sure exactly north path. I have seen the shuttle before and that was way slower then this thing was going, This came from the south to the North. This event was about 5 times brighter then the ISS/shuttle passing I seen before, and also I am pretty sure the Shuttle orbits above the cloud layers.

Another thing I am sure it was not a comet because there was NO tail or trailing particles coming off of this either.
