UFOINFO Sighting Form Report
Location: Fourth Avenue, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada
Date: May 22 2009
Time: 10:10pm
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Yellow/white sphere (lighted) attached to the bottom larger (black) object
Weather Conditions: Clear, lots of stars, little wind
Description: Light appeared from the west horizon travelling east. Once sphere location was overhead approximately 10-12000ft, we noticed a larger black object above sphere. Still proceeding east the object made no sound, ie. rotor wash from a helicopter nor exhaust from a jet engine. No strobe lights on any part of object.
Hear are some possibilities what this object could have been... 1) Hot air balloon... as far as I know, from what I have read off of the internet, is that hot air balloons can fly during night hours. If this was a hot air balloon, then there was no visible flames from the torches or any visible light from the balloon itself! 2) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic plane! I thought aircraft needed lights/strobes for navigation purposes! From what I have gathered off the internet is that these planes are only used in Southern Ontario, Toronto area.
Thats all for now...
TV/Radio: As for reporting this object, our local police asked me to call our local airport. As far as I know our airport has been 'unmanned' for a while now. Ontario Provincial Police - all Ii got from calling them was a voice message to call 911. Spoke to a good friend of mine and he suggested NORAD, based out of North Bay, Ontario, found a number off of the internet and called, left a message on someones voice mail with my details. Nothing has been returned from NORAD, to my phone!
