Description: My girlfriend and I were sitting on her mom's porch around 10 o'clock at night. I was looking at the moon and this little star that sits a little off to the side. I was trying to remember what that star might be because it's exceptionally bright and close to the moon. I was in the south west part of town looking mostly east, partly south. I seen about 30 discs of light fly under the moon and this star in formation. The formation was a cross between a linear and non-linear pattern. It was definitely linear enough for it to catch my attention. These lights moved so fast across the sky they were completely out of sight within 6 seconds. I pointed it out to my girlfriend the moment I seen them...and by the time here eyes landed on them they were pretty much out of sight. She thought maybe it was a bunch of airplanes. So we picked an airplane out of the sky and studied it. The average airplane we seen that night had flashing lights with red in it...and moved way to slow to even compare to what we saw. We spent about the next 20 minutes staring at the part of the sky where we seen the original band of disc lights. It was about 20 minutes later when my girlfriend spotted another 3 flying in a pattern much like o-ryans belt. She pointed it out to me, and I ran inside to tell her mom. We didn't see anything else that night and her mom doesnt really believe us. The original band of discs seemed to be independent of themselves while still maintaining this formation. This is REAL! Look into this PLEASE!!! Something is definitely going on in the sky...if you can find any explanation for this please pass along that information. Just from the formation of these lights I was reminded of a battle formation, or some sort of strategic alignment. There was straight lines that met at a point with semi circle lines surrounding it.
