UFOINFO Sighting Form Report
Location: Binbrook Ontario Canada
Date: September 8 2009
Time: 9:15 - 9:30
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Round bright white lights
Weather Conditions: Clear sky, lots of stars. Approx 20 degrees. No wind.
Description: We were observing the sky while in the hot tub and both noticed two lights which appeared to be moving stars. Both were travelling along the same trajectory. Approx 4-5 miles up. Very close together one behind the other and they may have been 1/2 mile apart. They were travelling from Southwest to Northeast. Both had no flashing strobes or colored lights which we normally observe on airliners in the area; just bright white lights. They were too high to be landing and not on approach. We observed for about 2-3 minutes and as they went into the Northeastern sky the lead craft appeared to ascend quickly and disappeared suddenly. The light changed from white to red. The second craft followed the exact trajectory and at the same point in the sky ascended likewise also turning from white to red. There was no noise of any kind. We live in the country and it is very quiet.
I am very familiar with aircraft and used to be in the Canadian Air Force. I have never observed any aircraft with bright white lights like this at such an altitude. They moved at a constant speed and flight path with no variation between the two.
Both of us believed we observed something unidentified.
